No one is saying he doesn't care but the mere fact is Rivera is a classy and stoic mofo. He'll never call out officials or Goodell. Neither will Richardson's 'loyal to the brand' bitch ass.

I don't think bitching in news conferences and getting fined changes anything  more than sending film to the NFL and complaining through channels does. Just because he doesn't make a public  tirade doesn't mean he isnt  doing anything. He has his way of doing things and others are more public. It doesn't make one better than another unless one gets better results than the other. Has all of the complaining about the shots Cam has taken in the media changed anything?  Yeah.   I thought so.....

And risk getting thrown out of the game or a penalty that will ultimately hurt the team? There's not much Ron can do on the field. I see him argue calls passionately many times, he doesn't have to run on the field and make a big fiasco out of it.

Will it hurt the team? cause as much as he stands there like a mannequin, I can't tell if he has anything to do with whether the panthers win or lose

And how many times has a HC been thrown out the game? Unless he touches an official, this isn't the double tech NBA that HC get thrown out a lot of

And yes I would rather he do that. It would really say a lot

He's right. Riverboat needs to go all in on this one. Cam is the only reason he's still an HC in this league.

He needs to stand in front of Cam and call the shield out for their blatant disregard for his safety.

Right! So when can we expect to see this??  ....crickets in the front office....

He's had the opportunity to do that.

Time and time and time and time and time and time and time and time again.

And the best he could come up with?  "I'd have taken a shot too."

To think the Panthers organization isn't attempting to put pressure on the league office to enforce its own rules when it comes to hitting QBs is to be detached from reality.

Cam is our franchise, without a healthy Cam, the Panthers organization will suffer on and off the field.

It's simple. We all understand there are avenues to deal with these things- but nothing is being done on the refs part from week to week. Nobody expects it to be a magic bullet and instantly Cam will start to get calls. But Ron needs to make a public stink about this 1) to bring the public's attention to what's going on (not just our fan base. If cam bitches, we all get it. Other fan bases think he's a crybaby for it though. If Ron echos the sentiment it will give it more validity) and I got a few more points but i don't wanna wall of text y'all to death.

The thing is, Rivera did the OPPOSITE of that.

When it came time a couple of weeks back to be a damn head coach and defend his QB (wrong or right), he didn't just pass, he SIDED WITH THE OTHER TEAM.

Why in the FUG would anyone expect him to take a public stance in defense of his QB at this point?

If you think that is how he should act, it says more about you than it does him.

No really, cause I mean uhh yeah... its my opinion ????

You have yours and I have mine. You think every thing a Panthers HC do and say is word from God, so....

They are just saying what they are told to, I imagine.

That's  bull the b--chez can't handle a dance they need not to play football. Talking about my feelings got hurt cause he did the dab.   They sound stupid..You can't humble a guy thru illegal procedures. There is a difference. It would be different if he was being humbled within the rules of the game ...Cam is playing handicap out there and thats all they can come up with be humble ....strahan needs to come sit on the couch he can 't think of something intelligent  to say....Please don't dab on me  Cam  you hurt my feelings now I got to take you out! ,,,Sad but thats how some of the players think..Cam looks at it the right way the?way the game is suppose to be played with fun and passion...Not out there trying to handicap someone.

Lol, these are the same men--along with DG--who could barely be bothered to surround Newton with offensive talent. They see time and time again, their franchise QB...Rookie of the Year...MVP...Superstar QB get pressured and 6 years in they have refused to draft or sign FA Olinemen to protect their best player.

Of course, the NFL doesn't care to protect Newton...the men charged most with protecting him continue to march him out there at the beginning of the season with subpar talent on the Oline...why should the NFL care if the Panthers don't?

Hmm. Let's see.

Trai Turner and Andrew Norwell. Trai being a drafted OLine man, and Andrew Norwell a UDFA. Both are studs at their respectable positions.

RT Daryl Williams: Proved more than capable of taking over RT. Him and Trai appear to have good chemistry, and if the coaches are smart, he'll remain starter there.

LT: Michael Oher: A respectable veteran that has done decent in his twilight years of his career.

If our O-Line consists of Oher - Norwell - Kalil - Turner - Williams we've got a top 3 OLine in the league. And I'm not kidding. We can be that good. Remmers is more of a depth type of player.

So, eat your crow.

A NFL franchise is a hierarchy first and foremost. RR will not step out of bounds unless he receives permission from JR. To upset JR would mean the end of RR's time here with the Panthers. If you hear RR blast the refs or system, then it's because he's been given the go ahead by JR.

I feel ya but I'm not talking about when cam makes a run. This is purely about when cams in the pocket trying to compete a pass. And as far as cam walking into the end zone looking the other way.... I love cam but that one was hard to defend mostly cause he didn't defend himself. But when he's standing up in the pocket... That deserves people speaking up for him. Obviously this isn't what Rivera IS doing. But RR SHOULD be more vocal in support of our QB, and I know you agree with that.

I agree 10000000%. Ron or DG or Richardson need to come out and say something. Cam shouldn't even be fighting this battle and leading the charge. Mentioned before, Cam is sick of it as well    The funny thing though, I don't think Campbell went to intentionally take him out as he was trying to apologize I believe. But this was the straw that broke the camels back. I'm interested in hearing Ron tomorrow

Does anyone have the clip of Dorsey going off?

    • I thought we were going to do it this year with Jenkins
    • I don't think the Jags are picking ahead of us anyways, at least not if Lawrence plays the rest of the year (or most of it). Here are the very winnable games left for the rest of the teams ahead of us in the draft right now... Jags (2 wins) - Titans x2, Raiders, Jets, Colts Giants (2 wins) - Cowboys, Saints, Colts Titans (2 wins) - Jags x2, Colts Browns (2 wins) - Saints, (Dolphins if they sit Tua as it's 2nd to last game) Raiders (2 wins) - Jags, Saints Patriots (3 wins) - Colts, Rams (it's home this week, 1pm game, Rams on short week) Saints (3 wins) - Browns, Giants, Raiders Jets (3 wins) - Colts, Jags, (also Dolphins last week if no Tua) The Patriots are the only team there that doesn't play another one of these teams, and the Browns and Jets are the only others that don't play at least 2 of them. We're not beating the Chiefs or Eagles.  We're not winning road games against the Cardinals or Falcons with them fighting for playoff positioning (assuming the Cardinals aren't locked into their place by week 17).  I also, personally don't think we're beating the Bucs in either game. Which just leaves the Cowboys, we lose that game and we're picking Top 3 or 4 at worst, still a legit shot at #1 because as of right now, the Jags are the only 2 loss team that we'd lose the SOS tiebreaker to. Even if we beat the Cowboys, with how many times all those teams play each other, or have other winnable games, I think we still end up 4-6. Yea, if we end up beating the Bucs or have another surprise upset too, it will end up dropping us further back to the 10-12 range Of these teams, the Titans, Browns, Patriots, and Raiders are the only ones I think would consider WR.  The Raiders would prefer a QB, the Browns and Titans also could go QB if they end up that high.  I'm hoping if the Patriots end up above us, they go OL to protect Maye, that could come down to if they're able to find a good LT in free agency before the draft. But the Patriots does feel like fate as both Gronkowski and Bruschi are two of the best Wildcats of all times who then ended up Patriots legends.
    • yeah Frazier was my dude. strong nasty, technical C. lots of playing time. but got a RB for a few games this year and 3 mnore years after. oh and signed a RB long term this year too. brooks got to be damn good for that to be worth it now. and while i think he can be a bellcow, it make investing in all the RBs vs other area an issue. we have one of the better lines atm. if it was frazier at C, my goodness we would be set for a long while. this year has a 2 OC im looking at Jake Majors , and Bryce Foster (massive, nasty streak, really want)
