Boomer's bitch ass was heard muttering "whatever" when they were switched back from Cam's clip.

I bet the neighborhood Boomer lives in is ZERO per cent African-American.

I would bet damn good money that that is the case for Boomer's fine, gated, guarded community.

Tony Dungy said the HC and Owner should be saying this, not Cam Newton

Im glad he said that, cause its why I and others have said over and over, Cam needs backup. The man shouldn't be left out there dry

Ron "I would have taken the shot too" Rivera?

Back up Cam?

lol

Its really becoming infuriating. JR had no problem shedding tears about domestic violence, completely blocked that man from ever playing with the Panthers, but can't say or do anything public about his star QB

Either what they're doing behind closed doors is absolutely nothing at all or very little cause poo hasn't changed. Cam Newton as a player shouldn't be talking about having a convo with the damn commissioner of the NFL

i saw dorsey on the sideline going crazy & I think I saw rivera holding him back

why is rivera not raising all kinds of hell about this???

The only rational reason there could be is because Ron "I'd have taken the shot too" Rivera agrees with the officals and the NFL.

Cam just said today he's not having fun anymore.  You think its solely because of officiating?  I doubt it.  In whatever I did, my Dad had my back.  In whatever sport or activity I played, my coach or leader had my back.

Ron "I'd have taken the shot too" Rivera has made it crystal clear that he does NOT have Cam's back.  Wouldn't that kind of thing suck the fun out of it for you too?

Didn't  mean to uote you, tried to dele but wiuldnt let me.  This is why Cam has not been himself since the Denver game. No smiles no joy. Rivera, Gettleman, Richardson booted the no sir yes sir guys right out of town.  .Would boot Cam if he wasn't  such a money maker for them.  If this is not how they feel look at  the personalities they have let walk Bene, Smitty, Norman. There is a certain culture they want...Yes sir men. Players make all the sacrifices and management sacrifices nothing but take credit for what the players earned..Coporate America.  You want players to take pay cuts to stay with the family the bond the players created. They use those very bonds to strip guys of their true value.. Rivera is a wuss. He knows that if he got fired no one would probaly hire him ..he is not going to put himself out there like that..Gettlemen too..So Cam finally said I'm tired of sacrificing my body and bosses not sticking up for me..i will take the hit...If I was Cam I would ask to be traded next year.  Sad to say Carolina will go back to being the medicore team it was before just like they want it to be and this time get you a white qb someone you don't have to worry about supporting

I agree that Newton doesn't get enough calls. That being said, I have to wonder at the "taking the fun out of the game' comment. Is it because he feels he is getting treated differently, or is it because he gets hit a lot?

If its the former I can understand. If its the latter, then I have to wonder how he would have handled playing back in the old days when the qb got treated just like any other player and protection would have been laughed at.

Fwiw, it looked to me like he had a lot of fun today.

This is already getting a lot of attention. Its trending on facebook and the NFL page already posted about it, of course with a bunch of NFL fans playing the Cam is a Crybaby card over and over again in the comments. These fans of other teams make me sicks sometimes , how can you look at a play like that and everything that happens to Cam otherwise and continue to downplay the issue or pretend it doesn't exist? Alot of these people sound like idiotic trolls

Yep, no other black QBs are getting calls...the refs must be racist. Oh wait, maybe race has nothing to do with it and they just don't Newton.

I have a hard time buying the notion that every single officiating crew in the league is made up of racists.

With that said, whatever the reason, Newton is absolutely correct to complain. This garbage has gone on long enough.

The "big and strong" excuse is bulls--t. I don't see the league letting people go at Julio Jones' knees because he's "too big and fast".

American society just cannot handle a tall black man that towers over them have fun, dance, and be so joyful. The insecurity is real.

Because the black man is supposed to be quiet and do as told. But one thing about it, you can't keep him down.

Whatever is happening, Cam is sick of it as well. Another poster mentioned this a page back, but he's getting sick of it too. The organization doesn't do anything until Cam makes a fuss about it.

Everyone interested in this matter please answer the following question:

What is the main reason the refs disrespect our franchise and allow Cam to be murdered on a regular basis? Why are refs turning a blind eye to illegal hits on Cam? Short concise answer.

Because our ownership values what's best for the NFL as a whole over what's best for his franchise. He never says anything that will cause harm to the Shield and doesn't seem to want anyone he employs doing it either. Cam finally just had enough and said fug it, enough.
