Yeah but we can win during there bye week, which would gain .5 game.

Correct...so I'll concede that we are 3.5 back with them owning the tiebreakers rights now.

If they were to lose at Tampa on Thursday and we won at Rams on Sunday we would be 1.5 games back and Tampa would be .5 game back.  The division is still very fluid and you could even end up with a three way tie.

We could and I predict will take another game back when we beat the Falcons at home in December.

The Falcons have already blown there load this year, and I predict that either us or New Orleans, win the division.  I fuging hate Matt Ryan.

We need to either win out or only lose 1 more game for rest of the season for realistic playoff hopes. And we need to win the second set of divisional games , inexcusable that we lost all of the first set of games that does not bode well for the future. And remember we have Atlanta on a fuging Saturday game (Dec.24th) right after the Monday night game with the Redskins .  Also we have the Cheifs, Raiders, Chargers,  and Seahawks coming up pretty soon this schedule is far from a cakewalk and we have almost no margin for error.

 

Do we have a shot? yes, but its very small to me still at this point. Do you think the Defense will actually duplicate today's results every single game for the rest of the season? I think today was a fluke that may have been mostly the result of extra Bye rest and extreme desperation, and a tired Cards team.
