Very happy that the Panthers won but I am disappointed that the offense has yet to play 4 quarters of football this season. Either they start hot and go cold  or go cold then get hot at the end.

The Huddle Loves to complain about the offense in October and during games...yet when it comes time for the Panthers to actually make moves to become the unstoppable force that the Huddle demands...the Huddle then yells and screams how it would be foolish to give up a 7th round pick for Julio Jones because that pick could be used to get another DE.

If anyone even suggests that maybe the Panthers should go after Joe Thomas or Jeffries the Huddle then jumps up and down screaming about "the Dline needs more help!!!"

Yet when of the offense puts 23 on the board we get posts like the above...

Sigh. The Huddle.

If you think that Cam and the offense is happy with the way they played in the 2nd half you are crazy.  I said that I am happy with the win but there is always room for improvement.

Cam and the offense can be unhappy all they want: they should be--they expect a lot out of themselves. HOWEVER, the time for offensive improvement was during the off-season: When FA and the Draft Begins. Not in October when we roll out sub-par WRs and Oline.

We sit up here and complain about the offense EVERY season yet when March rolls around we are completely silent as Dave selects 5 CBs and 18 DEs in a row...ignoring said offense. That is the time to start complaining about the lack of offense....Not Now. When the game begins everyone jumps up and screams at the top of the lungs that "OMG...the offense didn't score 50 on the NFL's best defenses!!!"

Stop complaining about the offense scoring points when CLEARLY this Front Office and Coaching staff can give two shits about it.

This team is lead by our Defense...that is literally the unit with all the resources...We go as far as that Unit takes us. If we want it the other way around...we should be actually drafting and building such an offense.

I agree. Second half play calling on O was suspect at times. Too many dropped passes as well. The run game saved us. That being said good game and glad we won.

I agree that this Defense should set the tone every game because of the resources the front office has invested into it but this is the same offense sans Kelvin Benjamin that lead the league in scoring. This year they had 10 point leads against the Broncos and Vikings but missed assignments, drops, and penalties prevented them from putting the final nail in the coffin. If they can clean up their play, then the sky is the limit.

12 seconds with a time out and we run out the clock......wtf. At least make it look like you're trying to make a play and not sit on a lead......

I disagree. There was still plenty of game left to play. I would not have taken a chance with 12 seconds left and possibly kill our momentum. It's not like we were throwing the ball all over their defense at will. I think we did the right thing there.

All things considered, this was a great day for the Panthers.  D-line like night and day from previous efforts.  Secondary still has holes in it, but Wiliams and others were good at times.  There should be more wins coming with that kind of effort on D.  Stewart was a beast today!  Having him out there really opens up the offense on the whole.

Off topic, but I only noticed maybe one commercial break the entire first quarter?  Are the networks/NFL listening to the fans or was that more to do with the game in London throwing FOX off?

Personally I kind of felt like our momentum had already been stalled after letting them go down the field and score before the half. That return set us up to at least try and get in position to score a FG before the half and to make that TD a little less impactful. I mean after all we really didn't have that much momentum in the second half since all we got was two FG's afterwards but que sera, sera, I'm just happy to come away with the win ^_^!
