This ^ 💯 I never understood the dumbassery of playing him @ FS with his noted struggles in coverage. Why we stopped using him in the LB/S role he had under Snow is anyone’s guess. -
That's what happened for the Saints no? -
his personality and presence is far too large for any backup role on a team. it cannot be controlled or restrained. not a slight on him at all, btw. he's not going to be a starter anywhere....not for very long. his shoulder just wouldn't be able to handle it. any vet QB he is teamed with in a starter role will have to compete with him for leader role. his presence will distract people just because people will naturally gravitate towards him or have an ear out for him. newer QBs that are trying to build their presence as a leader won't stand a chance with him there. he is not a guy you can have on a team that is building. on a team that is competing, he automatically takes the spotlight and attention from the team. he becomes the focus. that's not by his doing. this is just the natural by-product of having him on a team.
