Yes, it is.

How could it not? His worth today isn't on par with what his worth was last season. I mean come on, man. Haven't you taken economics? Short wanted a Cox level deal. No one is gonna pay him that, especially now. He's lost millions in terms of value.

Would be more money...more by definition is not losing money...

Are you fishing? Or do you not see what was said? Last year KK was worth close to 15mil. After this year, he will be worth 10mil at best. He could potentially cost himself 5mil. Losing money, is losing money.

Hurney drafted Cam and he deserves credit. But his last years doomed him which is why he was fired by a team who rarely fires mid season.

McClain, Fua,  Nakamura were starters just four/five years.

2014: Panthers loss both Safety's, 3 Receivers, Several lineman, etc

2016: Kept the majority of the same team. The guys expected to take the next step (Ealy, Boston, Thompson, Funchess) has not key veterans has not played as well as they did last year.

the 7-8-1 season did indeed count good sir. This would be the first year missing the playoffs under Gettleman.

Again to be fair Hurney was never really "fired" jR wanted him to make changes and he declined and they parted ways.

I find the argument "well, Hurney drafted cam and luke" so funny.  Who gives a poo. He was picking at the top of the draft every year cuz the team he put together couldn't win

He also picked Norman and Hardy in later rounds, and traded for Greg Olsen.
