D-Will taking shots at Gettleman on twitter

Norman would have played under the tag and said as much.  And guys never rush to sign a tag.  Why would they? People bring up that he didn't sign it immediately as meaning something.  Players want a deal and delaying signing tags are common in hopes of a deal (which was being worked on).

Dave's ego got in the way.  He pulled it. Then everything blew up on him from not making the moves needed both at DE and CB if Norman wasn't retained for a year and his desperate draft.

Bad offseason by the GM.  It is what it is

Agree to disagree?

I miss Double Trouble too. Two RBs that could win a game on offense, but we lost Double Trouble when D Will started falling on the ground by pushes and arm tackles. We were still paying for Double Trouble but only had Stew causing Trouble. D Will screwed himself by packing it in and trying to ride out a fat contract...

Now see, I have heard the opposite. That Josh was willing to sit out, and play hard ball.

The biggest difference between "Guys waiting to sign their tag hoping on a deal", and Josh's "I want more than you can pay" is, Josh knew from the start what we were willing to pay. He could have said right from the start that he saw no way we were going to get a deal done. Josh had to know that if he wanted what he thought he was worth, he wasn't going to get it here.

Saying Dave's ego got in the way is speculation on your part. And even if you happen to be right. So what? People in a position of power are not allowed to have an ego? And Gman pulled the tag when he finally figured out Josh was not going to sign long term. Save that money for next year, and let's go to war.

Drafting 3 rookie CBs was a risky move. Was counting on a 2nd round CB risky? Or counting on Bene, and McClain to help the rooks grow? If things go well, we are right where we want to be. Unfortunately, things went south, and here we are.

Bad luck for the GM, teamed with too many mental mistakes is what has doomed this season. Gman has no control over bad plays, and miscues. Or injuries to your top 2 picks I might add.

Lastly, I said all off-season that this was an evaluation year. That we had too many kids that we really didn't know. I expected plenty of playing time spent on evaluating kids. But there is no way in Hades that I saw this coming. I expected growing pains, but not this much pain.

Is this year a one year hiccup? If so, I give Gman, and Ron the benefit of the doubt. If however, this year is a start to something much much darker? Execute them all.

Sorry for the rant. The wife has been home all day. My nerves are a bit frayed.

Because I never tried to move the goal post. I Just wanted to know where this O-Line talent was suppose to come from and you did not provide any names. Which proves my point.

Von Miller / Broncos made a lot of o-lines look foolish. The Line played great in The playoffs against a good Seattle defense and a Cardinal defense. Why would he break that up. Did I ever say I agreed with it, no I simply used logic. Go to PFF or wherever and give me names of these great cheap tackles that the team could have picked up. If you are going to argue for something comes with details or facts.

I'm not on the cliff I understand this season is not the end of the world.

Our OL has been steadily getting abused pretty much every game since SB50. It damn sure isn't just the Broncos. It sucks to admit, but we're simply getting outplayed by even mediocre teams. The Bucs at home? That's pathetic. We hadn't lost to them in BOA in nearly 5 years.

But hey, at least you can sit on the huddle and say our GM gave it his best shot, shucks.

Where did a guy like Norwell come from? Who's radar was he on as some sought after free agent? It isn't all about big names. You work guys out, and see what's what. Players like Remmers shouldn't be all but guaranteed a spot regardless of poor play when we're cutting, and making an example out of guys like Bene for poor play.

Details,  and facts, lol. Other than putting your fingers in your ears, and yelling nana nana boo boo you've offered very little in the way of facts or details there chief.

I think we're done here.

This board is slowly devolving into all out gettleman war.  He's the best GM we've ever had, but people hate him and have been waiting for this bad start to throw it in everyone's faces . I'd rather be wrong and the team do well, but if they can take enjoyment from our team playing poorly, so be it. It's not like it matters . . Gettleman isn't going anywhere

What you are saying DMNDS.

We were talking about the O-line before the season not right now they clearly regressed.

Who signed Norwell?

Since we're living in fairy tale land where logic does not matter. The Hornets should trade for Lebron James, sign Steph Curry as a free agent and acquire Karl Anthony Towns for 4 2nd Round Picks.

You're right we're done here.

I'll wait for your quotes about being hated too.

Gross stated he disliked him at first but he grew on him. That was right from his retirement presser, dumbo. As for Beason, look up his interview from last year regarding his retirement. He stated Dave has a sharp football mind and is one of the best in the biz.

The Gettleman Hate is unreal hahaha. Oh Huddle...

Ah, no actual quotes.  Gotcha.  Lovely.  I love opinions and no facts.  Fantastic.

How does someone with a functioning brain compare discussing merely looking at basic affordable OL depth to a fanstasy like wishing we could acquire LeBron James, or Steph Curry?

Moving goal posts? Dude, you just tried to move the Great Wall of China right there, lmfao.

Donald Hawkins / Gino Gradkowski = Cheap depth. You know you were really referring to signing a Russell Okung type player before you moved the goal post because you can't name the cheap depth.

I used the LBJ/Steph thing to show that you can want but if it is not feasible why keep suggesting the same thing.
