Yeah, Derrick Henry would have sure fixed our problems blocking pass rushers and rushing the passer alright. 

So, you're just going to cherry pick a pretty meaningless stat within the context that you are using it and convince people, including yourselves that Henry is a "poor" back, even though just about everyone but two Bozos on the Carolina Huddle has said that they've been impressed and that Henry is indeed a legit NFL back?

I expect that from PF, but Tiger I thought you were better than that.

Don't use Demarco Murray's excellence, great situation and veteran experience, as a means to condemn Henry's talent. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever. He's a huge freak that is currently averaging more YPC than some other notable backs in this league.

And, btw, talent is talent. Anyone who is suggesting that we couldn't have used both Henrys this year is just blind. 

Now as for the future, I'd love to have Fournette or Chubb too, but I am not holding my breath looking at the way Getty likes to draft.

If we had DG from way back we'd be sitting here with Dareus and Cox or Brockers.

Neither guy as a GM is good but at least Hurney was able to find 2 guys to lead a franchise.

This place is like a microcosm of modern American society. It cant possibly be (person x) fault for their lot in life, so let's blame (person y) for every single thing that happens. I'm not a Gettleman "supporter" (whatever the fug that means), I'm a supporter of people having logical thought and personal accountability.

I don't see other gm's in the league having this many players speak bad about them.....

As fans, yeah, we're upset about this season. I'm willing to bet that he envisioned struggles for us this season when he let Norman walk but he's also thinking about the longevity of our window.

My opinion is...Gettlemen is going to continue to cost us with the manner in which he deals with people and his approach toward contracts.

there is plenty out there support that at this point 

and don't give me longevity talk...this team  was 15-1 and in the Super Bowl and His actions  brought it all down.  He had what GMs are suppose to working toward.  We could of even been better with some good offseason.  He did the opposite and it was obvious at the time he made us worse

Now has some positives too...but I am not sure his eye for certain positrons will outweigh it all in the end.  Every year there won't be decent vets to plug holes at a price he insists....and the holes are growing, not shrinking

The fact is, we possibly could have had both Hunter Henry and Derrick Henry, AND Bradberry more than likely in round 3. We could have at least drafted Hunter. Them along with allowing J-No to play on the tag would not have resulted in one win out of six games.

No disrespect to Big Vern, who may turn out to be an excellent pick, but I like the other scenario better, particularly when trying to sustain success and get back to the Super Bowl.

Hurney had the 1st Pick in the draft and the 9th pick. Generally in football you are not going to find a position more impactful than a QB so how is it Gettleman's fault for not finding a player equal to Cam or Luke. He has added some good players.

Look at Hurney's last few drafts. He was playing darts with his draft boards blindfolded.

And without your homer goggles on look at Gettleman's drafts. Outside off KK (who has only had 1 good year) and Turner he hasn't found a thing outside the 1st.

Without Gettleman this team does not sniff a Super Bowl appearance last season. His team was good enough to win it. I looked at the drafts they are still better than Hurney's.

Hurney is not in the same league as Gettleman as a GM. I shouldn't even have to defend a Hurney Vs Gettleman question, the smart money is on Gettleman.

I don't bother with DWill anymore. Honestly, yeah he's got money, but it's obvious the dude hasn't been the same since he lost his mom. I feel sorry for him. Since then he has become a really bitter spiteful kind of person.

Anyway.

As far as Gettleman goes, I'm not on some fire him nonsense, and he's still my GM. But he blew it this offseason. I'm sorry boys, but there is no way around it. I'm all for some Panthers shades sometimes, but there's no way around this. The honeymoon period is over.

Even with the missteps by Gettleman, Rivera has regressed as well. This has been a collective fugup all around unfortunately.
