KK or any player for that matter must prove he can play at a high level consistently before you can justify the big contract. Has KK's 2016 performance thus far proven he deserves to be paid among the NFL's best D tackles???

I don't think he deserves a big contract yet but KK could've wanted that contract during the off season

Yeah, Derrick Henry would have sure fixed our problems blocking pass rushers and rushing the passer alright.

You Gettleman apologists need to get out more often. Gettleman is widely bashed by the sports media and NFL insiders. It ain't just former players. The man is not GM material and is in way over his head. But after we go 9-7 next year he will again be a genius, right? LMAO

And yet these are the same people who vote on things like 'Executive of the Year' which Gettleman *won* last year.

That wasn't my imagination was it?  That he won GM/Executive of the Year for the 2015 season?

(P.S. "sports media", by and large, have their noses stuck up so far the NFL players arses (excepting Cam Newton) that they can smell what NFL players eat for breakfast.  Not exactly unbiased sources for your viewpoint.)

KK having a down year is because of some precognitive contract dispute?

Seriously where the fug do you guys come up with this stuff?

Gettleman has his faults and a share of blame for this team but it is entirely possible for other people to fug up too.

I never understood the Deangelo hate. He has a right to speak his mind as with any other players. I am fan who will still cheer for my favorite players even when they move to another team(smith, williams, norman) . i honestly dont know how i feel about our GM. I know he has a difficult job and i will not act like i know the answers. My honest opinion is he handled a few issues recklessly but no need to harp on the past. What will really make or break him, will be on how he handle things moving forward. I left jobs before and resented a few things but hey thats life and business
