I don't get swayed by one game. You are clearly avoiding the fact he is one the worst production per snaps WR in the league. Blame Cam, blame coaching, blame the scheme blame everyone but Funchess for all I care. Funchess is still that same question mark from Michigan that every UofM fan said "why isn't he better"

Gettis was really all that we had at the time (IIRC), I believe Smitty was out. How long did it take LaFell and Philly to have one 100 yard game? Did they "flash" that talent in their rookie year?

This season leaves a lot to be desired for all of our receivers. But, what about last season?

I'm pretty sure all them had 100 yard games early in their careers, and Gettis did it with god knows who at QB

 

Eh considering Kelvin is coming back from a acl I think he has having a rather good season. What about last year?

alshon is so overrated i would not want him , hes very similar to funchess , we dont need a wr but if i had to choose we need a deep threat , torey smith would fit good with us but there is no point in getting a wr .. we need a corner so bad

Chicago may break down and pay that man. White has been a bust so far, so they really don't have any other star power. 

Teams that fancy themselves as in contention are the ones that generally make trades like that. I don't know what our FO is really thinking right now.

Alshon is way better than Funchess but who would we give up...can't create another need to get a wr we already have...Ginn shows we need that deep threat to improve and open up the offense...this should have been addressed in the last few drafts that have been deep at wr
