I swear there is just as many commercials as there was episode last night. I'm sure it wasn't, but damn it felt like it

I have the entire series on record and watch the episodes later on at night before I go to bed. Having the option to skip past the commercials is great.

I think I would like Negan more if he wasn't so stuck on his mannerisms of leaning back all the damn time when talking smack.

I know Dave Chappelle was joking but I could totally see Negan doing the "bubble gum bubble gum in a dish" thing.   Easy peasy lemon squeezy.  If that is the awesome stuff he says in the comic let's go with the less is more approach with him on TV

After last seasons feel good episodes of Rick getting things going, these episodes are a kick in the teeth. Thought this one ran a little long for what it was, but I do think we all need to feel the helplessness and desire for revenge to appreciate whats coming, and the show is definitely manipulating my emotions. Certainly less Negan and more henchmen treating the Alexandrians like crap would have livened it up a bit.

So apparently Rick and Daryl were communicating with morse code, Rick tapping and Daryl blinking. I was wondering why they prominently showed that morse code poster in Rick's house. Now it makes sense. People are saying Daryl says "East".

I think the morse code picture was definitely there to foreshadow it being used....but I am skeptical we saw it in play yet.  Maybe though.

My only show gripe is the commercials. I think this last episode was great. Cut a few commercials and it probably watches better.

I have said it for 4 seasons, and I will say it again. This show watches better on Netflix. Being able to watch 3 or 4 episodes in a sitting does it more justice and it flows better. The commercials KILL the momentum and the dramatic buildup in each episode. This episode felt dragged out, but I fully believe it was the commercials.

I watched last season again as a lead-up to this season and loved it. Had a few episodes last season that I just despised, but enjoyed when I was in the middle of binging it. Netflix really should just push to buy and run it. Keep the essential crew-members (like the makeup and wardrobe crew, because they do great work), because then we can cut the censored lines and run it the way they want it, and we will get 10 extra minutes or so in each episode. The show would be better off being seen without commercials, and the people that don't have cable that I know who wait a full year to catch it on Netflix absolutely love the things most of us hate on during the season.
