I don’t recall that. It's hazy so that's why i went to check her status. That answers my morph question too then.

Yeah she died from the dude biting her while she was tied up in the Governor's torture chair. Apparently they brought her back to the prison and buried her.

In the comics Andrea and Michonne are both alive. Andrea is Rick's wife and Michonne is doing things that I can't really get into without dropping spoilers. It seems like Michonne is taking comic Andrea's place and Carol is taking comic Michonne's place though. I will say that Rick's relationship with Michonne has been a lot more natural than his relationship with Andrea was in the comics.

I liked the episode, but I was expecting minor obvious comic spoilers to happen at the end for the episode to really work.

  Spoiler Alert!

I expected Rick to take his comic stance once he was alone with Michonne. Basically being like "we're going to fight them and we're going to win but we have to be smart and bide our time". With the way things are playing out so far, I don't see how they're going to eventually make Dwight and Negan both good guys. The Rick/Negan dynamic is the only thing interesting about the comics now though so they'll have to do it.

I get one of those but not the other.

they have already said the TV show and comic will end different.  IMO that is a good point to branch off different.

We have already seen where things come off different on TV.  Andrea is now dead because of it

I think it's funny that they took all of their mattresses and burned them down the road. Negan is awesome. I'm sure Rick will get all the communities to join together and go to war. I assume he put a bunch of guns in those fake graves

To me, TV Negan needs work.  I get they were super excited to trot this character out but I think they might be a little caught up in their own hype and overfixated on Negan has to do X and Y because of the comics.  Think he would come off better for TV if they toned him down some.  Maybe that is just me. TV Negan gets a little more annoying than fear striking

I guess, but I haven't read the comics and I like his character. How he's always smiling..  Such an ass hole. Can't wait to see the war that is coming

I think the showfags should shut the fug up and enjoy the ride.

we are talking about the TV show, so how awesome Negan is in the comics is what is irrelevant.

TV ride right now deserves some criticism because it doesn't match the hype the TV show pimped.

I want Negan to be a great villain.  Despite getting to kill two loved characters he actually is pretty lame (and they have a legit great actor at their disposal).  Takes work to get that wrong

Critics seem to be hammering the show to right now.  Even the ones who where hype when Negan debuted.

People have tried to tell all of you that everything you hate about the show isn't in the source material. The source material doesn't unfold like this. Some people listened, and read the source material. The rest of you want to be "surprised" or "enjoy the show" but you're obviously not.

And then showfags poo on the source material, and turn around and ask for more of what you hate, which is fluff and deviance from the source.

Honestly if I hadn't read the comics, I would probably hate the fuging show too.

But should you have to read the comics to enjoy the show is my take.  Never heard anyone dislike the comic so he clearly nailed that platform.

I haven't read the comcis but know parts.  Maybe I am wrong but it sounds like they deviated from comics in terms of most big deaths and some key figures in the past (like the Governor, flipping roles of main characters, it being Daryl world, etc)  and then now are trying to basically lift Negan directly from the comic page.

They could nail it, could only judge it based on what we have seen thus far and they just started this story....but this hyped Negan arc has potential to be the beginning of the end IMO of the TV blockbuster.  Not saying it ends as they could go another 5 with their ratings (just not the mega ratings)

omg people pay attention...

TARA is the one pstall is talking about that was a product of the Governor's arc. She's on a supply run, as far as we know, with Heath. They were dispatched at some point after the assault on Negan's outpost. They've been MIA since, but should show back up soon, if not this week (haven't looked into it yet.) There is footage of at least Tara in the previews, so she'll show up at some point.

Michonne appears to be taking Andrea's role from the comics, yes. She's a terrible shot, as evidenced by her hunting this week, but I'm guessing she'll get better. Andrea from the comics is a dang good shot, and is pretty much the group's main sniper.

I'm glad the show has given us more evidence that Spencer is a gutless douche.

Also:

Negan isn't a "good guy" in the comics. He's just like he is on the show, a grey character with likeable traits that leans morally evil. Just because he's behaving now in the comics doesn't mean he's reformed. He's still the same guy with the same habits and nature. He just isn't in charge anymore, and I don't know that he really wants to be.

Dwight is still, and has always been, less likeable to me than Negan as a character. Even morally. Dwight is a flip-flopper emo who can't decide where his moral compass should point. So far, I think the show has done a really good job at showing this. I hope they keep it up. His arc with Daryl has been one of the better points of the show for me.

Also, as far as sticking to the comics go... another home run this week:
