There is literally no way this show ends after one other season.  That's only because even though ratings are down, it's still a huge show, and even IF (a monster IF) AMC cancelled it, Netflix or Amazon would pick it up immediately.    I could see them maybe ending it after the actors' contracts are out but I think that's been taken care of for a few years.

I thought the claimers leader was more menacing on the TV screen.  Less is more with villains on TV often.  You don't want a ton of Freddy Kruger screen time....then he becomes a clown. 

Hopefully, during the break they figure out the TV tweaks Negan needs.   Less monologues, back arching, word emphasis, etc.   The conflict and him being in war mode hopefully will help too.  I just think without the foul language to counter his goofiness they struggled getting his shtick to work right on TV.

I think the boots person is a new, show-only character, and that he's a leader of another group that is going to help the Alexandrians in the war to come...

He could also be the owner of the cache that Rick and Aaron found, and there could be more to the "You're still screwed" middle finger picture they found that got Aaron beat.

Of course, it could be Dwight, or someone from Oceanside, or Carol... lol

The boots belong to someone from a show-only group that lives in a garbage dump, and the next half of the season will be fluffed with Rick and Gang dealing with them.

So, careful what you wish for when you want the show to diverge from the source material, or show what's going on with unrelated groups.

Eh, JDM doesn't seem very comfortable using the word fug.

It came from the DVD version I'd assume.

I still don't get the logic.  Don't know if it TV standard thing or AMC's decision....

But I don't get how dropping F bombs is just this big no no.....but then the rest of an episode can literally be bashing in someone's brains.  Repeatedly.  Multiple angle shots.   Guts falling out.  Different zombie gore gags of what unique way can we show zombie #475's death.

Then the show is like, I don't know....I think Rick might should say "screwing with the wrong people" so that we don't offend too much.

I think if my 5 year old just had to stumble into a scene of TV and I had the choice between a f bomb scene and some gruesome death scene I'll take F Bombs for $500 Alex.
