And yet, there's no passing game if there's no pocket. Nothing has changed. The Broncos might have had a top notch secondary but Brown was still beating Talib like a drum and Olsen was getting open but their DL ate our OL alive. Cam less than 1.7 seconds to get rid of the ball.

Say what you will about Minnesota but guess what? Their DL is feasting and the reason why Waynes can get away with so many holding calls and why they were still undefeated despite their star CB being out with a knee injury.

Every year is the year that secondaries are gonna take the league by storm and that an elite front seven is gonna be a relic... yet Seattle was so desperate for a pass rush that they drafted a woman beater in the second round and Arizona drafted a complete dumbass in the first round.

Yeah, behind the curve. Ha!

1. When did I ever say OL & DL is not important but guess what your fave FUPA man doesnt invest  in creating a pocket for his franchise QB.

2. Every DB is going to get beat but guess what all the other reciveres where covered 99% of the time BTW like I said its a system that works together the point of the post was you just cant go heavy talent 1 side.

3. Both teams have established secodnary  hence they where building  the DL to become more balanced.

Guess who won the SB past couple of years

2012 Giants (Ross, Webster ,& Chung )

2013 Seahawks LOB

2014 Patriots (Revis, Butler, Browner & Chung)

2015 Brconso (Talib, Harrison, Stewart,& Ward)

Oh yeah when packers won in 2011 they had heavily invested offense with  2 pro tackles(something FUPA man doesn't invest in)  & plethora of WR.

Yeah, obviously Turner and Norwell don't count, right? Yep, Gettleman hates Cam. He clearly wants to get him killed. So he never drafts hog mollies. Ever. Absolutely. -_-

Don't even start with the OT subject. Oher is serviceable. Remmers is our only below average OL who appears to be losing his job to Daryl Williams (a guy who Gettleman drafted... wait *gasps*).

Take a look again, despite having established secondaries, a top notch pass rush remains the premium in the NFL. It's why a guy like a JJ Watt or Von Miller will always be worth more than a Richard Sherman or Patrick Patterson. Don't kid yourself. By the way, it wasn't Ward, or Roby, or Harris or Talib who beat the snot out of us, Miller obliterated us and took over the game completely.

Wow, and my IQ is low? Had we won, we would won with Coleman, Harper and Norman. Yep what a great cast of DBs. No flawed logic on that argumentative point at all...

By the by, Butler is a JAG and Browner is a system DB who spent most of year getting toasted. Let's not even bring up the Giants' DBs either. They were abused all season before they got to the playoffs.

Idiot.

Lol dude you obvioulsy don't know football

1.) Houston have Watt & Clowney and yet haven't won poo.

2.) Miller & the  Dline couldnt win poo in 2013 until they got a top notch secondary

3.) Panthers secodnary was good you know having a All Pro CB & comptent safties  but it doesnt hurt that we where playing a crippled Manning which is one of the reason Defense kept us in the game.

Yeah your IQ is pretty low

2016 Denver defense is still top 5 thanks to the secondary!

Again, we're a defense that focuses on our front seven, not on our secondary. We got spoiled with Norman. We've always had a patchwork secondary (White, Dockery, Mikel, Florence, Mitchell, Thomas, Cason, Lester, Moore, etc).

Bradberry is our franchise DB, but he's a rookie. Our pass rush has to step up in the meantime.

Or McD needs to scheme some reasonable blitzes.

    • I thought we were going to do it this year with Jenkins
    • I don't think the Jags are picking ahead of us anyways, at least not if Lawrence plays the rest of the year (or most of it). Here are the very winnable games left for the rest of the teams ahead of us in the draft right now... Jags (2 wins) - Titans x2, Raiders, Jets, Colts Giants (2 wins) - Cowboys, Saints, Colts Titans (2 wins) - Jags x2, Colts Browns (2 wins) - Saints, (Dolphins if they sit Tua as it's 2nd to last game) Raiders (2 wins) - Jags, Saints Patriots (3 wins) - Colts, Rams (it's home this week, 1pm game, Rams on short week) Saints (3 wins) - Browns, Giants, Raiders Jets (3 wins) - Colts, Jags, (also Dolphins last week if no Tua) The Patriots are the only team there that doesn't play another one of these teams, and the Browns and Jets are the only others that don't play at least 2 of them. We're not beating the Chiefs or Eagles.  We're not winning road games against the Cardinals or Falcons with them fighting for playoff positioning (assuming the Cardinals aren't locked into their place by week 17).  I also, personally don't think we're beating the Bucs in either game. Which just leaves the Cowboys, we lose that game and we're picking Top 3 or 4 at worst, still a legit shot at #1 because as of right now, the Jags are the only 2 loss team that we'd lose the SOS tiebreaker to. Even if we beat the Cowboys, with how many times all those teams play each other, or have other winnable games, I think we still end up 4-6. Yea, if we end up beating the Bucs or have another surprise upset too, it will end up dropping us further back to the 10-12 range Of these teams, the Titans, Browns, Patriots, and Raiders are the only ones I think would consider WR.  The Raiders would prefer a QB, the Browns and Titans also could go QB if they end up that high.  I'm hoping if the Patriots end up above us, they go OL to protect Maye, that could come down to if they're able to find a good LT in free agency before the draft. But the Patriots does feel like fate as both Gronkowski and Bruschi are two of the best Wildcats of all times who then ended up Patriots legends.
    • yeah Frazier was my dude. strong nasty, technical C. lots of playing time. but got a RB for a few games this year and 3 mnore years after. oh and signed a RB long term this year too. brooks got to be damn good for that to be worth it now. and while i think he can be a bellcow, it make investing in all the RBs vs other area an issue. we have one of the better lines atm. if it was frazier at C, my goodness we would be set for a long while. this year has a 2 OC im looking at Jake Majors , and Bryce Foster (massive, nasty streak, really want)
