Beason tells Newton to stop being childish

'Look here boy. We're going to allow you to play QB for our "storied" franchise, but if you miss a step in yer tap dance, have a bad game, ride a segway, dress how you want, dance, smile, become excited or simply fail to measure up to the lofty standards of The Jake Delhomme (spits dip into mountain dew bottle) were going to swiftly let ya know. Behave exactly how I think you should. Be perfect, boy'.

Losing to the Buccaneers of all teams at home for the first time in almost half a decade in one of the lowest scoring first halfs among the entire league this season is a hell of a lot more embarrassing than anything I've ever seen in a press conference.

But priorities, and stuff.

No, you cretin. Him excessively celebrating has proven to come back to bite the team in the ass. See: Atlanta last year. Every time the Panthers play now it's a huge game to other team because chances are Cam taunted the fug out of them the last time they faced off. His childish pouting on the sidelines when it is still possible to win a game is also ridiculous for obvious reasons. I'll never forget the super bowl when Luke Kuechly is on the sideline rallying the troops and still believing, while Cam is sitting on the bench with his lip hanging to the floor. It's not really acceptable that your fuging MLB has to try to rally your QB.

Uhh...This water is too deep for you, little fellow. Carry on with your troll bullshit.

I agree with Jon, but if Coach and more importantly JR don't have a problem with it, then what's the big deal?

Who cares what anybody outside of the organization has to say? It's the organization that has put Cam in this situation. A defense that can't back up the franchise QB. So if he gets pissed and walks away, can they really say anything? And if he walks away from the team in 4 years, can they say anything then?

rd4yc.gifPerfectly sums up what I said about being the good black. The word around here is "embarrassed." It embarrasses some or it makes them uncomfortable that Cam is very unapologetic and will continue to behave, dress, talk and act the way he wants---no matter how many focus groups they have.

I was staying to the topic at hand which is Newton's behavior with the press

what he does on the field is a different topic

my point was with wins the world might like poor behavior but will tolerate it. Without wins. No

How he acts has little to do with our ability to win....he has acted like that his entire life (it doesn't hold him back from dominating when in a position to do it )

i agree on the winning part....if Brady lost all the time they would blast his on field stuff.

I just don't care about any of it.  The only reason a healthy Cam or Brady would consistently lose is if a GM failed them....that I care about

The press questions, dumb as they often are, come with the job of QB.

Cam needs to set his stop watch for 5 or 10 minutes, go out there and interact with the press.

The answers don't even need to make any sense.

"It is what it is", "Sometimes a punt is a good play", "We picked a bad day to have a bad day".

"I've already answered that question."  Anyone else?  No?

"Good day to you sirs."

"I said, GOOD DAY!"

Look, man. I didn't come at you on some name calling sht, so watch it when you come at me. Personally, I don't pay you no mind. I ignore all the threads you post. You was on here pretending to be black, right?

Lol at his celebrating causing teams to target us. Teams targeted us; especially the ATL team you mention, because we're 3 time division champs. Your such a scary dude. "Cam, please don't taunt because it's going to hurt the other team's feelings and make them mad." Ole, rather be under the radar, unnoticed a** boy. He wasn't taunting anyone. He was having fun, and others took offense to it. Cam can't help that.
