Maybe more people should be questioning the idiotic process of post game press conferences and who exactly does it serve besides the media...

Exactly. Our local media whether they are interviewing players or coaches are only looking for one thing, a controversial story to generate buzz. That's it. There is little to no integrity in the sports journalism biz anymore. It's all about who can break a story first. It's also why many of our players including guys like Thomas Davis don't even really like dealing with our local "journalists".

When was the last time you heard somebody say "I can't wait for the post game press conference!" during a game? It's mechanical, purely procedural and redundant.

plus that bullshit they pulled regarding where they set him up last year fresh off the Super Bowl loss was sadistic. It was like that sopranos scene where Silvio is losing his ass off in poker and Tony has one of the low men start sweeping the floor where his feet are and he flips the fug out like Tony knew he would.

Bring in a Cam Newton piñata and crush its head, they might make you CEO.

Sounds like a plan to me. I need to prepare my best argument. Give me a list of things I should bring up. I'm a woman so I can argue until I'm blue. I should start with laptop gate.

Anyone can speak to the media well when things are going great. Character is what shows when things are going lousy. It looked like after the wreck he had, Cam had become more mature and had found this well of character to draw upon.

Ever since the Superb Owl press conference, though, there have been so many apologies and excuses made on his behalf that it really appears he has regressed on this level at least.

He spoke to the media and handled losing okay until the last press conference. But we'll forget about that won't we?

Bottom line is, Cam is who he is. He is going to deal with things the way he wants to. It's no crime. He walked out, big deal. The media still got their controversial Cam story so who really "won"?

So here's Tom Brady after a loss, ends his presser in under a minute, including an expletive.  No biggie, right?  But if it's CAM, it's new forever....  Double standard much?

Well we know that Brady or Rogers or anyone else, this is call passion they say. So passionate that you hate to lose. Passion and posture is what's different.
