Believe me, I know I will never sway anyone on Richardson. If an owner can throw a season away for the benefit of the league and the fans still admire him, then there is no possible way of changing minds. If an owner decides to put the shield at the 50 yard line when every team  except the Jets and Giants who share a stadium put their logo, and the fans say it's no big deal, then I know there is no way to possibly change people's minds.

 

I just believe that it needs to be hammered home that Richardson turned his back on this family. You guys can all make excuses, but explain to me why Colorado and the ex coach stepped up. These are 2 people in the Charotte community who are connected to the Panthers in a negative way and need help. If this was Jerry Jones or Jim Irsay you would be destroying them. Just is a shame they are not getting the support they need and deserve when a billionaire is capable but instead is just turning his back.

There is no denying I dislike Jerry Richardson . I truly believe he is the lone reason why this franchise for a majority of the past 20+ years has been unsuccessful. But that has absolutely nothing to do with this. I cannot fathom how they have not helped out this family. This isn't a random rant. This is a direct quote from the Scott Fowler article.

Regarding what @NJPanthers12 is saying, there's a little bit of truth in everything even if you disagree with him. I'm in the boat that you never should trust a pro owner, though Richardson would likely never pull a George Shinn. I like the NFL shield at midfield however.
