Football is a team sport you need people functioning at a high level at multiple different positions to win football games. 

And Cam hasn't been amazing this season either, been holding the ball too long and missing throws like usual. Although I think more of the blame goes to the o-line, Cam is definitely not blameless or even playing consistently good this season. Whether you blame that on the hits he took in Denver or just a drop off in effectiveness is up to you.

But as turnover-prone and inconsistent as the offense has been this season, I honestly think that our only loss this season should be to Atlanta, thats the frustrating thing. If we had even a mediocre defense (instead of an all time shitty one) and a kicker who can make field goals when it counts , we could be either 5-1 or 4-2 ...

Even with the offenses (cam included) miscues and mistakes, we've still always been in the game. We can't get it done on the other side of the ball. So for all his holding the ball and the o-line's shitty play, our offense can score. Our defense can't stop and our coaches can't adjust. There's the problem.

I understand what you are saying.  Yes, we have some exceptionally talented players.  We will turn it around.  Everyone is upset because of the supposition of a superbowl run.  We've been stabbed in the heart but will survive.  Good post.

I'm tired of excuses.  It's worse that we have Cam.  It's like having a winning lottery ticket you can't use because you got lost in the woods.
