I don't really mind adding to the TE corps, and I thought they'd bring back Simonson with Bradberry and/or McClain presumably recovering over the break, but cutting Edwards is a real headscratcher. He was one of the few (only?) DL who seemed to be outperforming expectations.

Simonson goes back to his third TE role, and I'm assuming Manhertz is more of a blocker? That's needed, we weren't getting any push from Tolbert and had to use Chris Scott at TE last week.

I'm just gonna assume we'll see a lot of these, bottom-roster-churn type moves over the next two weeks.

You still may be onto something.  Just not yet.  Horton is essentially Edwards now (or again, however you want to look at it).
