This Season May Actually Be A Blessing In Disguise

Meh. Im pretty sure this "were building for future seasons" talk was said earlier in the offseason when there was a few who questioned Gettleman. I'm sure this same thing was said last year, the year before that, etc. Pretty much since Gettleman arrived 6 years ago. How long are we going to keep building for the future?

I have no problem with the OP's thread. Truthfully, it's probably needed with as much madness that's been going on the past few days, but I'll admit I'm not as optimistic. We were knocking on a championships door last year. To me, the logical move would have been to improve last years squad by retaining your all pro CB, and possibly making a move for a mid level DE or S. You still draft Bradberry, but have him learn under Norman. Oh, and don't know if it was mentioned in OP's thread, but someone said we were spoiled. Spoiled of what?! We've never won sh*t! We've also never been a consistent winner. The Pats, Steelers, GB...those are spoiled fans. We're nowhere near spoiled. We're just a fanbase that's been waiting 20+ years for a championship.
