Is Dave Gettleman supposed to address the media anytime soon?

Gettleman's not going to talk to the media until after the season. Never has, but this year might be a good time for it.

Yeah Dave is too smart for that. If he gets up there- it doesn't even matter what he says, it only matters that he gets up there- he instantly starts receiving the blame. Its an admission of guilt. An admission that something is wrong that he feels responsible for. Dave knows he has an opportunity to control the narrative right now, and deflect blame when the time is right-and as you see on this board, small minded people will gobble it up.

 

 

Dave is clever and image concious. definitely not personality traits you want in a GM.

I have to agree with you, he is thinking of his future, but the way this team is built this year I don't know if he will have one with another team...
