Jackman has always been terrific it sucks to see him leave the role.  The girl playing Laura was great.

So Logan had cancer right? It was never clear to me what was making him sick.

The adamantium was causing him to get sick and the crap they put in the water over the years was slowing his healing factor that would have normally fought off the adamantium like it had all those years.    I think Logan's healing factor kept him around longer than most other mutants and probably the same for Charles strong mental ability.  

Also, Logan does age, just slower than normal humans.  He's like centuries old I believe at this point.    Combine it all together, etc.

seemed to me like the whole point of the movie was to say that they are done making movies with Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart, and ready to reboot the storyline with new actors.  Tied it all off with a nice little bow.

I too could have done without another xmen, but this was one of the better ones IMO.

Finally saw it on iTunes.

Really blurred the lines between comic book movie and a good drama/suspense flick.  Genuine heft to the story and well executed.  Hats off to Jackman and Stewart for great performances and to Marvel for killing iconic characters.
