Norman, Coleman at FS, Bene at nickel, Rookie/vet rotating at other CB, and vet SS. Boston and Jones would remain depth.

DE was what the Panthers really needed, but they seemed to think Ealy and Delaire would be the answers.

So, yes Norman creates a series of events that strengthens the personnel. Then he takes away 1/3 of the field allowing the LBs and safeties to favor a smaller area of field. QB is now limited in where he can go with the ball. Smaller field = advantage defense. Larger field = advantage offense.

The front office chose to give the advantage to the offense because these moves will play out in a couple more seasons of struggle. It's about the future. Wasn't that their company line?

seriously man, Melvin white was better than Sanchez, maybe even worley. Much better considering he was an UDFA from a small school and was a rookie in 2013.
