SOOO Is it to early to openly root to lose

Totally disagree. All we are promised is today, so I want to see my team win as many games as they can. Winning those 5 "meaningless games" will be 5 joyful Sundays where I'll not be in a bad mood for the next week. I'll take them! I love to win.
Also, I don't trust Gettleman to capitalize on a top draft pick.

I say this, but I do think you have a point. Even in our worst season I always seem to root for a win regardless of the record, hard to openly just root against a team you love. I think a better way to phrase it is I won't be as pissed and disappointed if we lose.

This draft does look pretty joocy for us in key positions if we end up picking that high.

Hope for what a DT or Luke's replacement in the top 5? Only guys our gm has hit on are Benji(to a point) Turner Norwell Star and KK.. the rest looks like trash easily replaced or god awful picks in all his drafts since he's been here.. and yes I include shaq funch and whoever else anyone wants to mention.

I never root for the team to lose, but when you have a bad team losses have a silver lining. Our talent level is too low, and Gettleman won't spend in FA. You don't need a crystal ball to know that we need to be at the top of the draft to turn this around, and even then those picks might not be enough.

I've already reached the point where this team losing actually doesn't bother me. I hate some of our untalented, or even downright stupid players. I want them to be swept out of this franchise and never return. Losing helps to get rid of them for good.

Yes. I'll never root for a loss but my dissatisfaction with losses will start to go away as we get closer to playoff elimination territory, and once we're there I'll be able to see a silver lining in every loss. That being said I still have some confidence we can dig ourselves out from the grave we seem to have put ourselves in. If we don't then I'd love to get Myles Garrett and a top RB early in the 2nd and possibly keep KK for relative peanuts.

I won't stop cheering for wins until we are mathematically eliminated from the postseason. Once that happens, I'll just be pulling for growth out of our young players.

This team will likely start 2-8 and then win 4 of the last 6 to get a 6-10 record and a draft pick in the teens.
