I agree.  Might have been his best game since the NFC championship, and our offense finally got in sync. No turnovers and they made plays  Defense and special team were at fault today.

And some terrible ones. Not saying he wasn't good. I love cam. He is our team. But I guarantee he enjoys those short yardage runs and getting up knowing there's nobody that can stop him 1vs 1.

Also we're 1-5, he's already missed a week with a concussion.  He's not having fun because we're losing and none of it is his fault

He led the offense to scoring 38 points and scored a rushing td.  Of course every throw wasn't perfect.

Agreed about the defense. I hate it but totally understand why they would  tell Cam not to run. This was more than likely his second concussion this season. Its a known fact that the more you have the more likely you are to get one. We have the bye next week which puts more time in the bank. Like it or not it was the prudent move at this point in time. I would rather have a coaching staff looking out for the long term than Mike Shannahan and how he handled RG3. Would you have rather run Cam as normal and had him a couple of years less. That is a very real possibility. One more concussion this year and he very well could retire. Its some serious poo.

Every quarterback has some bad throws in a game.  Brees had some bad throws today, including a very bad interception.  Cam played very well today.

We probably should think about saving the face of our franchise. If cam continues to run a lot he won't be able to play 10+ more seasons.

They definitely didn't tell him to avoid scrambling.

This is so stupid to blame the offense or Shula for not running your franchise quarterback less than 2 days after clearing the concussion protocol.  This doesnt mean we wont ever run him but only a fool calls many running plays against a secondary than is missing its number 1 corner and is giving up 300 yards a game passing.  Why dont you get off the Offense and Shula kick and look at the real problems which are special teams and defense.

I can understand trying to protect him coming off a concussion. Like someone else said, that wasn't why we lost today.

It's stupid if you don't allow your MVP QB do things that made him the MVP
