do not want

i mean he'll probably be a top FB prospect in this next draft but cmon

the guy kind of looks like Rex Grossman that's reason enough to tell you he's going to be poo.

I have given my reason to wanting this guy many times. But I don't recall ever hearing the reason you think he wont succeed. Or are you the type that see's a guy that isn't the pro typical QB like McNabb and say he can't throw because he happens to be good running the ball. And yes I did just compare him to Mcnabb. I think with his leadership skils alone he should be given a chance to start in this league.

I wasn't talking smack, it's not smack to say that Jake's throw was a prayer. All the non-Jake lovers who saw the game would have agreed with me. If you put a capable FS back there, there is no way that Smith comes down with the ball. I don't know how you see that as smack.

Very well, I acknowledge your FS was not NFL quality.

Come on dude, now you're coming off like you don't know ish about football. That's just the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Guess you've never heard of Steve Smith having to be triple covered huh? I guess some teams have 3 incapable players. Nobody of ANY football knowledge is ever gonna deny Brees here but as soon as you say stuff like that about the last triple crown winner, you're just gonna lose any cred that you had before, Just sayin'. We appreciate your company.

    • I forgot about Jackson...definitely elite.  The sad part of your list is that 2 of them were 'there for the taking for the Panthers'.  Rumor has it that Hurney loved Herbert and was vetoed on trying to trade up.  And rumor has it that Frank & McCown wanted Stroud.  I believe both rumors.
    • I went on a solo elk hunt in the Flat Tops. It was awesomely miserable. LOL It was a late season hunt, I think third season and it was forecasted to snap off cold with highs in the upper thirties and lows in the single digits. fug it, I'm going anyway. They were wrong. The highs were in the low 20s and the lows were in the negative teens. I shivered so hard the first night I thought my teeth were going to break. It was the only time I've ever been legit concerned that I might be in trouble. Crawled out of my sleeping bag and got a fire started and suffered through the night bundled up next to the fire. I slept the next two nights literally wearing every stitch of clothing I'd brought with Nalgenes full of near boiling water in the bottom of my sleeping bag. That was the only way to have non-frozen water in the morning anyway. There was about a foot of snow on the ground and the melt/freeze crust was almost enough to support your weight but you'd go crashing through just as you went or make your step. It was exhausting travel and every step sounded like a rifle shot. Hunting was basically impossible. I never saw an elk in those four days, only saw 5-6 deer. LOL It was brutal but I loved it. Absolutely beautiful country that is never been to before and haven't been back since. I needed that four day complete break from society fighting for my life against the elements. I'm weird like that.
    • The lack of production is especially surprising given how much effort the team put into coaxing the best from him.  In just six short years he’s had the opportunity to work with 3 different GMs, 7 different head coaches and 10 different starting quarterbacks.  There’s literally no excuse to be made that one of those combos didn’t work.  It might be time to look withIAN.
