I am thinking he is just playing to not get injured. He has 3 options. 1: Ball out and prove he is worth a monster deal. 2: Get injured and his chances of a big contract diminish greatly. 3. Play it safe as to not risk injury and wait out your eventual payday even if it is not as much as you were expecting. Guaranteed money is better than no money.

Tin foil hat theory. KK and his agent are not Happy with Gettleman and the way negotiations have gone so his play is just a big fug you to dave and KK is gone after this season.

Teams have seen his game film and have adjusted.

fletcher cox has him 4:1 right now. i'm sure he sees plenty of double teams yet he is still able to make moves.

i don't care who else is on the line, kk isn't even bringing pressure.

To me it looks like effort. 

I don't care that the sacks aren't there. He needs to be collapsing the pocket. He hasn't done a good job of that this year at all.
