True, but the majority of the union are backups and bottom of the roster guys that don't have power. So, I don't see it happening. -

Even though it would benefit the vast majority of the union members. I don't like capping contracts though. Uncapped contracts in a hard cap league is a big part of what keeps the NFL competitive and gives bad teams hope. Teams can't just outspend their rivals to load up and paying a top tier player means you have to make sacrifices elsewhere on your roster.
