My opinion is once the roster crunch passes, he'll be back on the Panthers PS.

If any team in the NFL up to this point had wanted to sign him to their active, he'd have been poached off of our PS by now.

If he doesn't pass waivers I'd feel like this team is bleeding talent.

If they poach him off our PS, they have to put him on the active roster. Not sure many teams like him that much. He should be back. If they want him back that is.

He gone.

Even a GM who don't know the guy will look at college tape and see he is a 1% with the footwork and great route runner.

What the fug Carolina Front office.

They need some reasonable youth in there.. not some buzzed cut Wofford trust fund kid but young men that know explosive playmakers when a team needs one.

Yeah lets keep all the replaceable guys.

Byrd showed some good stuff on kick returns in preseason was hopeful he'd get a chance.

I'm sticking with what I said years ago.  RR is an awful evaluator of talent. Actually godawful.  As evidence by Tolbert, bersin and teddy being kept around to name just a few.

I agree with this 100%, well said

Constant injury after injury combined with lack if production when you're not injured is a failure.

Agree to disagree I guess. Gettis was a 6th rounder speed guy. That speed made him a bright spot, outperforming his draft position and showing more progress than the much earlier drafted Lafell.

Next camp he blew an ACL. Some people bounce back, some don't. Gettis just couldn't get back what set him apart: elite speed.

There is a difference between "failing" situations and "unfortunate" ones. His was the later.
