In addition, Kelvin Benjamin was limited with his knee injury but more interestingly

Saints RB Mark Ingram was absent from practice Thursday. It's unclear why since he didn't appear on the injury report Wednesday. Today's injury report will be released later in the afternoon. Also not participating in Thursday's practice: LT Terron Armstead, DE Paul Kruger, LB Dannell Ellerbe, CB Delvin Breaux and S Erik Harris. Harris will likely officially go on injured reserve later today.

they honestly didn't do THAT bad against TB.

Worley did well except for the TD where he got smoked on Evans' double move but on that play, Kurt blitzed and got pancaked easily so he was basically negated from the play. If no blitz, he's back there in coverage and it likely isn't completed. Hard to expect any corner not to get beat in that situation 1 on 1 vs. a great WR in Evans, let alone a 3rd round rookie. Sanchez was decent in his limited snaps though I'm still worried about him trying to tackle a running back that got to the second level. Fortunately for him last game their run game was shut down by the time he came in. McClain was absolutely horrible that game and has been all year. He was Godfrey bad. We really need Bradberry back, he's actually been a top 10-15 corner this year when he's played. Shut down Diggs, played solid against Thomas and was a beast against the Niners (though of course it was Gabbert and some sh*tty WRs). Let up a couple catches to Julio before getting hurt but was no where near as bad against him as Bene or McClain, mainly Bene. If Bradberry played that whole game we may have won.

Worley got pooped on all day, Winston's accuracy just sucks.

I don't know about all day, but there were several other plays that come right to the top of my mind where Evans got behind Worley and Winston just missed him.  Winston certainly wasn't sharp.  In fact, DA was probably more accurate for the most part but made a back breakingly bad decision on the goal line pick and the fumble was a killer too.

There were a ton of plays where he rolled out andn just missed open players.  Brees will not miss like that.  We gotta get the mole early and Armstead being out would be excellent.

Don't worry teddy's got this. He'll finally make 1 (the only 1 EVER) play that makes you think "hmmm, maybe this guy isn't the biggest waste of jizz on the planet", then , on the very next play, run over his own punt returner to cause a turn over. wait...that was last week.

    • What are the matchups, stats and superlatives?   I think this will be a hard game. Bucs are a very balanced team on offense:  7th  in total yards per game, 7th in passing, 10th in rushing. Baker is having another career year even better than last year but despite missing his Godwin and Evans. Bucs defense is poor (29th) particularly passing defense, but we’re also depleted in our receiving with Coker and Sanders likely out. Running Chuba is key but their defense is better against the run. (16th) I think this is likely going to require us to score a lot of points to keep up and hopefully the home field advantage tips the scale in our favor. My other concern is our run defense and being able to stop their rookie study Bucky Irving who the Bucs have shifted more carries to recently and he’s averaging 5.4 ypc and knows how to get into the endzone with 5 TDs so far.
    • This is nonsense and you know it. People will be happy when we are consistently and convincingly winning games against good teams. There are people in here talking down to others after losses and barely beating the terrible NY Giants. If you want to strut around here like only you are a real Panthers fan and rage pooing posts because your jimmies are rustled then hey good luck with all that. I hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving.
    • Who had the massive meltdown last year? Hope they feel better this year.
