In a league where the owner of the Cowboys tells people that Romo will be their starting qb when he comes back even though the other guy is winning, this is certainly not true.

Trading for a corner now would not only confirm the huge mess he got the Panthers into, but also would prove he was far too slow in correcting the mistake. 

His only option now is to sit tight and pretend there is no problem with the talent in the secondary. 

No doubt the secondary needs improvement. It's not the reason were 1-4 though. Special teams is directly responsible for 3 losses. Between the miss at Denver, the punt return and missed kick against Minnesota, and most recently with a miss and punt return fumble against Tampa. If we were 4-1 with this secondary we would be praising Gettles and Ron. Ron and Gettleman's biggest failure is not addressing the ST's.

i'm not gonna act like that wouldn't take some of the sting out of this season but that was a long time ago.  someone who turned 20 on or after january 29th of this year wouldn't have even been born the last time the cowboys played in a conference title game or super bowl.

the reason that dynasty fell apart in the first place was largely due to jerry jones getting into a power struggle with jimmy johnson because he felt he could build a football team as well or better than a guy who had just won two straight super bowls.
