The Offense and coaches decision

I can't help but sit and wonder did the Panthers really make a mistake in the off season?  In training camp, In Preseason as well ? I will start with Ted Ginn Jr. 10 touchdowns as an outside #1 WR. He took the bull by the horns and got it done, I don't give a flying fug what his drop rate was and we know it was bad. Philly Brown, a seemingly polished receiver thanks to excellent coaching by Prohel. When Talib took him out hard in the sidelines, his presence missing from the offense was felt. He had some brilliant moments last season and was serviceable enough to work the slot.

Now I talk about Devin Funchess, who's been well... Rather disappointing despite his amazing performance and work ethic in training camp, preseason ect.. The big question is did the Panthers let him earn his starting job way too easily? Did Dave sit down with the entire team and say this guy should be the #2  automatically? I think we are all trying to figure out what's going on with fun fun. Is he not ready to produce as a 2? Should Ted Ginn have been our 2? And Philly the 3? With fun fun as 4 and relieving the 2 or 1 in certain situations when fatigue is a factor?  What say you ?

Funchess and Philly are playing the same role a lot of the time if you actually watch how they're being used. In 3 receiver sets they're both in the slot, and I think Philly actually got more action than Funchess there on Monday, at least in the first half. So I don't see how they made Funchess the #2?

Also, in his limited opportunities, he seems to be getting open a lot, the QB's just haven't been able to find him.

once again I agree with this...I am not sure why they felt the need to change rotation heavily depend on KB and instead of doing what seemed to have worked last year.

The team is trying too hard to replicate the success from last year with all the big plays we had. I think this is the reason why Cam is holding the ball too long. It's a new year and we need to take back the reigns a little bit and take what the defenses are giving us.
