The problem with these discussions is the same problem that our country has...so much time and energy is spent harping on the smaller issues that people end up ignoring the big ones.  Anyone in the NFL will tell you that if you are -4 in the turnover battle in one game, you will probably not win that game.  A lot of the same players we had last year are probably making the same mistakes this year as they did last year.  But we won the close games, and we won the turnover battle..so people forget that stuff.  Instead of constantly making Mike Remmers, Mike Shula, or Dave Gettleman out to be the cause of all of our problems, why not just accept that no team in the NFL can win turning the ball over like we have?

agreed.  the fact that we have 14 turnovers (Lead the NFL) in first 5 games when we had 19 all last year and that we are top 5 in the amount of penalties per game is essential the reasons for our rough start.  You can't lose the turnover battle every game and expect to win.  39 Penalties which is 5th most in the NFL averaging 7.8 a game, where 2015 we only averaged 5.4 and second to last with TO margain being -7 (2015 +20 on the year)  Direct reflection of our 1-4 start.
