a damn wednesday night non-power 5 game on the ocho is beating the NFL right now, at least for me.

It's App State. You must be trolling or just weak because I have never heard a fan call the school what you did.

Redzone saved me because watching NFL now is just to many god dam commercials

plus Roger is an asshole for making the NFL boring, ratings are really awful this year...

Lower than in the past?  Yes, they are, mainly for the Thursday night, Sunday night, and Monday night games.  Still far higher than any other sport, and Sunday 1 and 4 pm games have not changed much, so definitely not awful.

Yes, I have lost interest in the NFL and its because of the terrible officiating. I saw so many bad calls/no calls last season, that I just can't take the game seriously anymore. From what I've been reading in the news and on this forum, it's only getting worse.  It's a joke and I can't help but to think it's fixed to a certain degree.  I'll always root for the Panthers, but until referees are held accountable for their poor officiating, I'm over it.

I used to be a football junky. I am a Redskins fan, and lost a lot of interest with how the franchise/fo handled Griffin.

The wierd part is that im currently on an amatuer fantasy football show but my joy for football is near the lowest its been in my life.

Given the state of this year's Panthers who are frankly the worst I have Seen in 20 years, yes, I have lost interest and selling my season tickets for the very first time

i will not support overpaid, under performing pro athletes.  I work far too hard for my money for this stupidness

this particular  team has more talent than many Panthers' teams and they are simply awful.

Bellinchek knows what he is doing, he turns that roster over every year to weed out pros who don't 'do their jobs'

Wow! I'm really sad about the overall state of the NFL, officiating in general. But so many people are down because the Panthers are losing, so you're out? A year after a Superbowl run? Fickle much? Damn...

Where's @TheRed to say this is a bad look for Panther fans?

Just leave and never look back, bunch of pansy assed fans. Don't get interested when the Panthers start winning again.

Wow.

I used to be a HUGE baseball fan when I was a kid in the late 90s, early 2000's. My favorite teams growing up were the Rangers (I saw Pudge in his major league debut when I lived in TX) the O's (Born in Maryland) and the Devil Rays (because the bulls were their farm team and I had season tickets to the bulls when I was super into baseball).

I loved the sport and all that came with it. Then the steroid scandal happened and all my favorite players growing up turned out to be frauds. Add onto that the lack of parity due to no salary cap and all the best talent in the league would end up on the Yanks or Red Sox and it just got boring.

The last world series I was mildly excited for was Phillies v. Rays. When the Rangers went to back to back WS, I didn't even care, and they were my favorite team as a child.

I'm finding myself hitting the same indifference. There's just too much negative surrounding the league, to me at least, at this point in time. Ref issues, concussion conspiracies, lack of transparency, hypocrisy, etc, all leave a bad taste in my mouth. I'm normally really into fantasy Football and I'm just not in the slightest this year. I haven't bought Madden in a few years because the game really just wasn't that good anymore and the lack of competition between EA and 2K made for a shitty cash grab product, something that has become standard when associated with the NFL. With the internet these days, more and more people are becoming better informed about things in this world, and it's getting harder for the NFL to pull the wool over everyone's eyes like they used to.

    • Bryce put it in a spot only his guy could get it only for David Moore to drop it. T_T Tremble and Horn both struggled yesterday and that killed me since they're two of my favourite players. Tommy knows he has to come down with this one. Folks were understandably saying that JT would've caught that had he not gotten hurt a few plays earlier. The more I look at this play, the more I think that Bryce made the right decision throwing it out the back of the endzone. He could have tried to laser it in to Thielen, but that safety is lurking awfully close inside. Insuring the field goal here after a 44sec drive to end the half was the right move.
    • Except Bryce was the main reason we were in it
    • NFL Pro has the All-22 up already 😄 Going to grab a play or two from each redzone series to put screenshots to. Looks like AT angled his route off to the near pylon rather than the back corner where Bryce was throwing to. I imagine this is something they'll quickly try to figure out with Thielen back from IR. After watching the All-22 again, this was actually a pretty nifty play. I thought it was a TE screen to Tremble because of the way XL charged the DB, but he quickly shed and kept upfield as seen in the second screenshot. This looks like it had multiple layers built into it with AT running the crosser, XL the fade, Tremble to the flat. The progression would call for the play to go to Chuba here as the LB does follow Tremble out into the flat. Ball hits Chuba low and in the hands, but the LB does a good job disrupting the catch.
