The only way we're getting Garrett is by tanking.  So the big question is, do we tank this season to draft Garrett?

At this point, our draft pick will probably be between 12 and 20, so posting top 5 guys might be fun, but not realistic.

Now, if Cam goes on IR or some other crippling things, then Garrett might enter the conversation.

The Tennessee DE might be more in our range "at this point"

that might be their plan . They aren't making moves  to save our season so it looks like we are in tanking mode

I don't think we have to tank. Our defensive secondary will do all the tanking for us. If we didn't beat the Saints or Bucs who the hell do you think we will beat the rest of the season? We are playing against teams like Cardinals, Chargers, Raiders, and play the Saints , Falcons, and Bucs again all of whom we lost to already. I could see is winning against the Bucs and maybe the Rams but that's about it. We face some pretty damn competent offenses with an ultra shitty defense for the rest of the season, which means plenty more Ls .

At this point, we are picking 4th, so, Garrett is definitely part of the conversation, at this point

Unless we are in the top 5 (which would require us to lose out, I see us winning at least 1 game against either the Bucs or Falcons) , we won't be getting him. He'll probably go to the first team who doesn't select a QB.
