Shula is one thing, but Gano should get cut this week.

anyone noticed why shula went away from the face pace approach that we use to run all last year? i cant stand him. we go into a fast paced offense and we make a comeback , why couldn't we do that from the start? but anyways the secoundary lost this game not shula

I'm not Shula's biggest fan. But, I don't think he's our biggest problem. Let's not forget that we did lead the league in scoring last year WITHOUT our best receiver. We scored 38 pts. yesterday and lost. We scored 33 against Atlanta and lost.  We were a missed FG away from beating the defending super bowl champions on the road to start the season.

I think Shula has had only 2 stinkers this year : the Minnesota game and the fiasco on Monday night against Tampa Bay (and even that is somewhat excusable because we probably would've won that game had Cam and Stewart played)

Shula isn't responsible for the dropped passes (like yesterday) or our mediocre run blocking (especially the OT's and the lack of a true blocking FB). He could probably do a better job without his play calling at times and he needs to scheme to make the best use of his talent, but if we were a middle of the pack defense at worst we'd be 4-2 or 3-3.

That said, I wouldn't mind seeing Gano leave in the offseason. I have no faith in him when we need him to make a clutch kick.
