Absolutely been saying Cam has made Shula look good for years. The most gifted athlete in the NFL makes up for a lot of short comings. And again, just because Cam is capable of doing a thing, doesn't mean he should be. We need a Pro style offense built around Cam and he'll be healthy and our QB for another decade.

This this this. I've said Cam keeps Shula's job secure on the strength of his talent. I don't expect Shula or Ron to lose their jobs any time soon though.

RR's ass was on the hot seat not once, but twice....then along comes Cam Newton.

Shula has been trash EVERYWHERE he has been...then along comes Cam Newton.

The Carolina Panthers were an also ran with the exception of one super bowl appearance...then along comes Cam Newton.

Beating your 6th year OPOTY and MVP to death as though he is a third year QB, who is still learning the game...inexcusable.

This staff has a ceiling and we are witnessing it. Without great talent we look just like we did in '12.

Time to inject some new life.

But silly ass people in this fan base have the audacity to give Cam more poo than they do this pathetic staff.

I guess i'm the last person on this board still defending Shula.  It wasn't but a year ago he orchestrated the NFL's top scoring offense with Ted Ginn JR. as the top WR.

There were 4 inexcusable, egregious turnovers tonight, and maybe only for one he was even partially to blame.  If we had a healthy Cam we would have had no issue putting 30+ on the scoreboard.

Gano has become a problem, it should be mentioned.

As pointed out by the OP, Cam was the focal point of that orchestration and many situations that Shul called a dive play on 3rd and 1, Cam would audible out of into the TE drag play. That is on Cam, not Shula.

Anderson pulled back the veil on Shula. Outside of San Francisco and Atlanta, we are averaging a paltry 14.67 points per game.

shula doesn't shoulder the blame for gano's field goals, nor anderson's interception. but he shoulders the blame for being a bad offensive coordinator.

Like our own p55 likes to say..."I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you"

Sorry PhillyB if they don't get it now they never will and to me it's damn hilarious people are that dense.
