I should start using that excuse for this team being jack poo.  Instead of the obvious reasons like Gettlemen and the Coaching Staff.  I'll just say Michael Oher'a great and him being hurt is the reason we suck.

joe flacco got injured because ozzie newsome is a cheap bastard and had a garbage UDFA playing left tackle who got literally thrown into his expensive franchise QB's knee, ending his season and dooming their bid at a repeat trip to the AFC title game.  seems to me like his ego got in the way and he thought he was the smartest guy in the room with his bargain bin james hurst.

see how anything can be framed up in any way you want

In Smith's first season in Baltimore, the Ravens win a Wild Card game but lost in the divisional round, same as the Panthers.

Lat year, the Ravens went 5-11 while the Panthers were 15-1 and went to the Super Bowl.

Only an idiot would consider us as being on the short end of the stick in that stretch.

only an idiot would make quantitative statements with no relevancy to the point as a whole.

let's break down this point, if you could call it that, more

-Inevitably went to point out that Ravens 2014 season before realizing it was identical

-actually posits that an injury is a critique of an individual's play (quite grotesque, indicative of low character)

-trots out trademarked double standard to support yet another strawman argument: says ravens success with Steve smith is inconsequential when they are successful, but is tethered to their lack of success, made even more ironic given his purported stance on Steve smith injury last season (honestly your remarks here start to conflict so much it gets difficult to track)

-actually thinks being a super bowl loser is something literally anybody would be proud of

-conveniently (not really) disregards Ravens clear level of current superiority to our positioning which he will inevitably claim is irrelevant to Steve smith to further enforce ongoing loop of well documented circular reasoning, until any possible qualifiers, such as a raven's loss, could be attributed to Steve smith's presence

-when pressed against the wall, will inevitably start rolling out passive aggressive cliche's like "nice try brah lol" that became overused about the time AOL Instant Messenger became popular.

-probably follows it up with some generic and pointless remarks pertaining to intangible concepts like " team-lockerroom- love"

- writes a bunch of meaningless spin to deflect from the weakness of his argument

(but then that describes the majority of your posts, so no shock)

Bottom Line: It can't be argued that over the last two years, we've had more success without Smith than he's had without us. And yes, his getting injured does matter because at his age it's easier for that to happen.

Try and spin it as much as you want to, but you can't get out from under the facts.

the reason discussions with you are so terrible is because you stick your fingers in your ears and scream while having no issue debasing yourself with generic insults that sound like they are out of a 60's teen pop film and inherent discussion flaws that a college debate professor would fail you for on the spot.

Ah, the irony...

As I recall, you're one of the adherents to the whole dumbass philosophy that if you don't win it all, it's meaningess. Thus, using your own measuring stick, that means Steve Smith's last two seasons have been worthless and he's accomplished nothing.

I don't understand why you'd want to be so hard on him after all the years he played for us. Why do you hate him?

Im still waiting for you to rationalize how Baltimore's success is irrelevant to Steve and how their failures lay at his feet, and maybe go ahead and explain to us why you're so comfortable fueling every argument you make with circular reasoning and other embarrassing logic failures that high schoolers are disciplined heavily for in their studies.

I asked you first after all, so do go ahead Scot.

Nah. It's more fun to just sit back and watch you get all pissed off and thump your chest as if your opinion actually mattered to anybody (you and NCTarheel are both good for that) :)

It's odd to see the half-dozen or so on here who get so much joy out of the team they supposedly cheer for losing games.

If wallowing in misery is your thing, it's your right to be that way of course, but it sure does make you a sh--ty "fan".

Maybe you guys would be happier if you found a team you actually wanted to cheer for.
