That wouldn't help anything though. Even if we could get better players by next season than the 2015 season, we wouldn't have the winning mentality. Coming off a bad season after a superbowl run will not build a winning mentality within the locker room, and I can imagine it would make players question the staff.

Bene was never anything more than a slot corner. He admitted to being out of shape if I recall correctly after Sunday's loss.

Now with that said, DG has officially lost the locker room. I've said he's going to sink this franchise since the beginning and all you blind DG nut huggers couldn't see it but you're finally see it unravel now.

I also said after Gano missed that kick week 1 it was most likely going to have a roll over effect and y'all just said "it's only one game". The look on TD's face when Gano missed that kick pretty much sums up the low energy this team has had since. Dude was demoralized. 

Gettleman has sucked the life out of this roster. With the release of Bene it just further proves my point that Gettleman isn't good when it comes to drafting players. This is going to get worse before it gets better by the way...

This smacks of 2014 when Decoud and Cason were cut and we basically went on a rebuild! I hope this is the same case. Never been a huge fan of Bene, he plays inside he gets burned as he lacks speed, he plays outside and now gets burned. If anything I see this as a good thing! It's usually some jag who takes the blame for a piss poor loss.. If some of the more established guys are being served up this isn't bad! Now onto the likes of Charles Johnson and Mike Tolbert please Mr Gettleman

No words for this. ... best corner on our roster, gave up similar stats to what Norman did in second Atlanta game last year...no reason for this, wonder if it was off-field stuff?
