What vets were those you are referring to?

JNo and Roman primarily.  I think you could throw in Dwan and Love(until now) because we paid Solai who looks like trash. If I was a player I'd be pissed.   Because of that we were forced in the draft IMO because DG wanted leverage in Star/Short contract negotiations and got emotional with JNo.

The Vikings are 4-0 and kicked our asses.  The Panthers are 1-3.  Who's having a hard time letting go and moving on? If you moved on from a former employer and then handed them their ass or they struggled after you left, you'd gloat a little too.  It's human nature.

yeah and it's human nature to respond to someone shittalking your team in turn

seems like a shot at guys in our locker room who are supposedly his friends as well.  how would you respond if somebody who you considered a friend left your company and was doing well somewhere else only to talk about how everyone in your department is an incompetent moron?  "well heh that's just human nature" probably isn't the first thing you'd think.

Sometimes hearing things you don't necessarily want to hear makes you reflect.  I really didn't see that he said anything all that inflammatory. If you get outraged by what he said, you might be a little sensitive.  Maybe we need a "safe space" on the Huddle.

uh oh he referenced safe spaces and implied i was sensitive

i don't see how anything i said seems to imply i'm outraged about anything.  i am guilty of rolling my eyes when i read the quote though.

man what a punk.  i hope they lose a playoff game because their kicker shanks a chipshot field goal at ho-wait a minute

Maybe "butthurt" was a better description than outraged.  If anyone in our locker room is concerned about this, then that would speak volumes to why we look so disjointed and out of sync on the field.  Honestly, I don't think anyone in the locker room does care. They're seasoned pros. They understand that lots of players are a little salty toward their former team(s). I'm sure we have plenty of guys in our current locker room who are.
