That's incorrect.  They perform tests that can't be fooled.  There's symptoms you can't cover up, no matter how hard you try.  Plus, you don't just fug with brain injuries.  You may hear "mild concussion," but there's nothing mild about a brain injury.  poo's serious, and he should approach it that way.
