Why do they insist in Starting CAP over Fozzy?

Because we are a scheme team and play players who on paper fit into that. I think once CAP gets going he will be alright. The coaches could evolve the playbook to something to get Fozzy in space other than the easy defensive read of a screen to him..

NFL defenses this year we play seem better, and more prepared to know our run plays and stop us at the line.

I realize that rants usually don't lend themselves to rational thought. But dude? Contradicting yourself, and using hyperbole to make your point is no way to convince people you are right.

Our Philosophy is Ground and Pound. We want to out physical you. Then, when you start to wear down, we hit you with that change of pace, speedier type back. Let an already tired D chase Fozzy around, and see if they can keep up. That is what CAP helps us do.

Or at least that is what we WANT to do. Actually doing it? Not so much this year.

Cap is not small. He is 5-10 and 220. He is not slow. He ran a 4.5 at the Combine. He has not had a problem with hand-offs, until last week. (When even Tolbert ran into Cam.) He certainly has not juggled EVERY hand-off. So...you are using untruths to make a point. C'mon man. That stuff only works against drunks, and fans who may lack knowledge of our Philosophy.

So, because the Coaches do not agree with you. They are "Hard Headed" and "Refuse to Adapt"? When your argument is based off of untruths, and faulty logic. I can see how YOU can come to that conclusion.

One can try. When I see fans misuse facts to dis a player, I have a hard time ignoring it. I'm getting better. I am only trying to help our younger fans learn to appreciate the finer points of this fine game. Sometimes it works. And sometimes.......

Sorry for the double quote. Didn't feel like trying to fix it, so I just went with tit.

First off CAP isn't gonna wear down any defense, this just some fantasy panthers fanboys have made up in their head. The same CAP who has never had a 100 yard game is supposed to wear down a defesnse like he's Earl Campbell. And if you actually saw CAP play in Auburn you can easily tell he's no a true power back, he's a shifty back and whose not fast at all.

And he has had problem with handoffs going back to last year, in which he fumbled 3 handsoffs. Sunday alone you count 3 times were he either took to long to get the handoff or juggled it.

It seems some of you have hard time accepting the fact a speed back is having WAY more success in our scheme than a slow lumbering RB.

This is another thing wrong with some posters in this forum they take everything the coaches and Gettleman do and say as scripture. They can do no wrong and since they are in the NFL and your not no on here can question them. Which flat out idiotic. One of Rivera's biggest fault is that he's stubborn and hard headed.
