Throwing the ball up deep to KB is a viable plan, but honestly, he needs more quick routes. Slants, hooks, 10 yard outs are his thing. You can't cover him on those, with the exception of the hook. However, if he has the ability to pull off that double move and get vertical on you, you can't just sit and squat on that hook, which allows his body to box out defenders and fight for that ball.

KB has shown so far this season that you can't stop that slant to him. You just can't. Same with Funch, to a slightly less degree. We should be eating teams alive with it, yet we only hit it once or twice per game. It's an insult to this offense. The deep stuff has it's place within a scheme, but it can't be all we do. I'm tired of seeing 4 receiving options go downfield 15+ yards and that be it with the exception of a check down which is automatically covered because you have everybody else deep covered with corners and safeties, leaving linebackers to just sit on that hot read.

Our problem is offensive design. Our problem is Shula.

We have the most dangerous phenom in the entire NFL, and we are afraid to use him?  No, I'm not talking about Cam Newton.  Obviously we are not afraid of using his abilities.  I'm talking about our number one receiver in Kelvin Benjamin, a guy who is literally uncoverable even if he is covered.  Not only is he tall, the guy is packed with muscle!  There is no way on God's green earth any one man can cover him.  It is a grand insult that people say Xavier Rhodes shut him down.  NO!!!!!!!!!!!!  Again we are talking about a guy who is taller than Randy Moss and Calvin Johnson, and stronger than Adrian Peterson, yet he have received only a handful of targets these past two games?  One target in the Vikings game?

Aaaarrrghhhhhhhh, it makes me rage just thinking about it.  Just throw it to him.  Send him deep.  He will flick off any scrawny corner trying to jump with him.  The physics alone says he will beat triple coverage 9/10.  So let's stop all this bullcrap about our offense stalling.  It's stalling because we're making the choice to stall it.  Anytime KB gets less than 20 targets a game, we only hurt ourselves.  What do yall think about the grievous ineptitude in our offensive strategy we got going here?  Just throw it to KB.

You'll need to tell Cam, cause he doesn't like to throw the ball until he can see the receiver is open.

if anderson starts monday, kb and funch will each have their chance to get 50+ yards receiving. i say kb ends up with 90 yards and a TD. funch 55 yards and olsen 75 and a TD. this is not a bash cam, start anderson post. it is more about how anderson prefers the shorter routes and looks at slants and curls before going for the long ball. it wouldn't surprise me if he makes the line look better too as he tends to get the ball out quicker than cam has this year as well.
