Indy let Cromartie go

Yep, G-Man out thought himself this time.

I am so glad we are spending that money we saved from Josh Norman wisely.

im not saying to get Cromartie---

What I am saying is Josh should have stayed, maybe keeping Tillman or Harper as veteran help, and an honest offer for Short should have happened tremendously.

not having a proper quarterback coach or offensive coordinator for Cam-- hey Cam what happened to the quicker release and taking the open guy? Moving the throwing platform? Bla bla bla.

coaches we keep and players we have on the field are on the GMan

This.....so glad that money we saved by releasing Norman went to a good cause....that cause being Jones getting 5000 yards a catch this past weekend and Matt Ryan setting a franchise passing record.  Money we saved to sign Short and he may not even resign with us at the end of it all.......Brilliant.  I am going to be honest, I was hoping Josh would not play very well with the Redskins up to this point because at least then we could say "Well, Norman obviously just had a fluke year here"  This is squarely on the shoulders of Gettleman and our coaches this season and I am a supporter of both.....but they fuggggged up.  What they do with the remainder of our so far broken season will be an eye opener.  Will be see a reemergence of Riverboat?  Will Gettleman say I fugged up and try to sign / trade for someone who is worth a damn ( not someone off a practice squad )

But guys guys this will all pay off 3 years from now when we don't spend it that off-season either! Hey but at least we will have it

I hate that every time someone gets cut by a team there is a thread asking whether we want him or not because either 1) we couldn't afford it 2) he played like garbage or 3) we couldn't afford him while he played like garbage. However, Justin Forsett seems like a great fit for us. I'm kinda over CAP at this point watching him fumble and run into our QB on the read-option. I honestly think Forsett could help this team and be a viable cheap alternative with the football IQ to help us in all aspects of the offense. Or am I completely alone on this?

Yep. That's why the Redskins and Norman have done way better than us. Oh, that's right, even with the debacle in Atlanta, our pass defense is 14th and theirs is 25th. That's impressive considering we are 10th against the run and they are 30th so teams have a reason to run more against them.

Nothing against Norman, but please don't act like his presence has done much to really improve their defense which is 29th in total yards. They were 28th in total yards last year giving up 30 yards per game less than this year.

*Facepalm*

Read the entire conversation before being all high and mighty. All you did was back up the point I was making.

The "killer pass rush" was sarcasm.

Lol, what a jackass.

Relax Francis. You also said that it was a mistake that we let Norman go. I was agreeing with the other guy. Norman is in a similar situation (I guess I agree) and he's part of one of the worst pass Ds in the league. Doesn't seem like a good investment when the Redskins D is worse.

Seeing as how most of Julio's yards were on the slot CB and lack of safety help not sure why we made the mistake of letting Norman go. Our mistake was thinking that Boston was good and that our safeties were OK. I remember when he was lauded as being a training camp star. If we just drafted Bradberry and went heavy at safety after that and signed a vet as well, the D would be in a lot better shape. Our safeties have been the biggest issue on D.

300 yds to Jones is not solely a safety problem.

Norman has shutdown every reciever he has been asked to cover.

No one on our team could even slow down Jones.

Your opinion is irrelevant.

I didn't say solely, I said "most" which is what @Jeremy Igo had a thread about, umm, what did you call me? Oh, that's right, I didn't say solely, jackass. Awesome that Norman has played great, doesn't take away that their D has been worse this year even with him. Exactly my point, jackass. Not sure how your opinion is relevant either. Have a nice night, jackass.

28.7.

That's the % of the snaps we are getting pressure on the QB so far this year.

28.7 exactly was the % we were getting pressure on the QB last year.

This only leaves two factors. Safety which I admit is a problem and Cb

We let a cb that could handle the top cb's in the league by himself walk out the door. If you can't see the issue then I apologize that I don't know how to converse with the mildly autistic.

Either way don't let facts get in the way of you sucking up to the boss.

Jackass.
