Probably not a shakedown. The evidence is pretty easy to gather. Cam signed the 2 month lease? Check. Pictures of all the damage the day he left? Check. First hand account of the house keeper? Check. Unless you think two multi mult-imillionares would go through the trouble of trashing their own place and go through the courts to sue Cam for 100k. They could easily make that money in a fraction of the time they wasted suing Cam.

I was really referring to the amount in question but you're right.  Very easy to prove the dollar value and there is no motive for someone with that wealth to go through the trouble.

I'm going to toss this out there. Having read a couple different version to this "lovely" story. Has anyone wonder how TMZ even knew a lawsuit had been filed by this guy against Cam? Someone had to have tipped these clowns off that a lawsuit had been filed, whether it was the lawyer, this clown or someone within the Clerk of Courts office.

Also, the other thing is, in the stories, the time frames, aren't matching up. One story is saying 61 day, yet I've read, Cam was there til July when he left to move back to Atlanta to support the arts.

So which is it, 61 days or the end of July?  If he did it, Cam needs to man up, pay the bill and move on. If he didn't do it, then speak out on it.

We'll see how it plays out.  Everyone's different,  but when I rent someone's beach or mountain house I consider the decent thing to do is leave it at least as clean as I found it.

Where's the other story? He was in LA from March until he was done filming on the west coast which was May I believe. Then he finished the rest in Charlotte. People sell stories all the time to TMZ. You can search and see if a case has been filed though. I think by July he was in between Atlanta and Charlotte with the exception of the KCAs.
