Was changing both tackle position a big mistake?

Thats like saying should we play Nate Chandler over Byron Bell. Hawkins would have gotten eaten up Remmers did his best but he just doesnt have the talent. BTW  why are you always asking the wrong question, it should be when Oher returns do we start developing Daryl Williams and start him at RT.

The falcons scored on what, 4 drives of over 90+ yards?  Everything else is near irrelevant.

And if we were able to control the ball and keep Julio and co off the field it might have been closer as well. TOP was 34 minutes to our 26 minutes.
