And we let him walk. So sad. Hell just let Boston stay out there. He doesn't know what's going on, but at least he can run. The best Jones can manage is a brisk jog.

Jones must the kind of guy who has frequent nagging injuries because on the football field he's nowhere even close to that kind of speed. He's a target for opposing QBs because receivers go right by him. He must have nagging groin problems and will not hold up out there. Yeah at 100% on a track straight line he's fast. On the field with his nagging injuries he doesn't look like a speed demon. I'm scared Jones is going to get burned.

I certainly hope that Colin isn't hiding his groin injuries this season and trying to gimp around running slowly. Please speak up Colin if your groin is bothering you.

Calls Jones slow.

Gets shown where Colin is indeed fast. Pulls out the ol' "Jones must the kind of guy who has frequent nagging injuries" story to back up his assertion.

Calls out Colin to back his claim.

My fellow Huddlerz. You have just witnessed one of the greatest spin jobs in Huddle history. When you are caught. You have two choices. 1. Back down, and take it like a man. 2. Dig in, come back strong, and hope you get away with it. This is a perfect example of the latter.

I love rants. When they are well done. I don't think anything is more entertaining. When they are poorly executed. You just gotta call it.

I take it you missed what happened with Colin Jones last season? Jones suffered what was believed to be a major groin injury that could possible keep him out for the entire season. Jones decided to get a second opinion from a groin specialist. The specialist said that he needed treatment, the physical therapy type. 24 hours after seeing the specialst Jones trotted out onto the practice field, and made the decision to play with the injury not fully healed. The result was that Jones looked slower. Let's hope he's at 100% now and can play faster. Yes I called him slow. Let's hope he's faster now. He wasn't.

He technically didn't say "demoted."

He said "were going to try and move him to a different role" and "see how he performs as a 3rd down player"

so you know. Demoted.

Make a trade.

Wished someone would have recognized earlier...but of course we aren't GM's...

Robert Lester is still out there...worse then Boston?  lol

The first year Lester wasn't bad but during his second preseason he looked like he didn't even know which team he was playing for

Veteran Kurt Coleman, who started this season at strong safety after playing free safety at a high level last year, is potentially moving back to free safety starting this week, according to head coach Ron Rivera.

Tre Boston, who was starting at free safety, could back up recently-signed free agent Michael Griffin, who saw a number of snaps last week for the Panthers at strong safety.

The last time the panthers used a high pick on a safety was in 2000 on deon grant.. yeah..

Chris Gamble was drafted in 2004, Round 1, 28th pick https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Gamble

Deon Grant was drafted in Round 2, pick 57 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deon_Grant

If you're going to whine, get your facts straight first.
