I find it hard to believe that Griffen is a better option than Donte Whitner. I'm sure Griffen is cheaper since our cap is such an issue.

Didn't Whitner get picked up? I was thinking the Giants got him

Here are Safety snap counts in case it's of interest:  Colin Jones only had 10 snaps at safety on defense.  So, he didn't really replace Boston.  But not getting the start must have been a wake-up call for Tre.  Coleman got 100% of snaps once again at SS.  Griffin got the most at FS

They worked him out last week but I don't think he has been signed. Although it might be telling that Giants, who only have 2 healthy safeties, haven't signed him.
