to be honest no , daryl is terrible hes a back up guard  at best .

Dude he litteraly played 1 game as a starter in his career jumping to conclusion 2  fast on DW.  We have seen 2 years of Remmers as a starter  so its different circumstance.

Where are those magical OTs that people think are out there, just waiting for a ring on their telephone? I'm sure you can dig up a few names, but 32 teams have passed on each one of them not just as starters, but second stringers, third stringers and even practice squad members for one reason or another.

You can't just say what geniuses Gettleman and Rivera are when we find people in the dumpster that turn out great. You also have to take it to heart that if they haven't found someone better, especially with cap space left over, that they couldn't find ANYONE better than who we have right now.

We've got great talent scouts out there working the colleges and the undrafteds, plus don't you think that every agent with an OT to offer hasn't already dropped some game film and a business card on Gettleman's desk?

Remmers will be fine enough when he gets back to RT and Oher will hold down the job at LT when he comes back. They aren't the best to ever play those positions, but they are damned site better than the alternatives. And that includes our own Williams and Hawkins... those guys are still being coached up, otherwise they'd be the starters. Right?

We should hold a public tryout like Dick Vermeil did with the Eagles back in the day.  I'll try out for LT.  Which eventually would lead to me getting a Disney movie.

The movie version of that story isn't quite accurate.

Did Papale really play no organized football after high school, before earning a spot on the Philadelphia Eagles at the age of 30?
Although the movie Invincible truthfully emphasizes that Vince Papale played no football on the college level, the movie fails to mention that Papale did play in the short lived World Football League (WFL) for two years starting in 1974.

Did Papale really just happen to go to the 1976 open tryout on a whim?
No. The Philadelphia Eagles contacted Papale and invited him to the open tryout, along with a few other former Philadelphia Bell players.

It's called drafting and developing one , hell if you can turn a UDFA Norwell into Good OG the we can definitely turn a draft pick into a starter. Even a blind squirrel can find a Nut once in awhile.  Look at what saints did with Armstead
