Cam and Anderson

Recommended Posts

diffrent qb , cam is a big play qb da is a quick release qb . thats why i love having da as a back up hes so solid . but that being said da fits shulas offense better than cam does, we need a oc that will call pass plays that fit cams strengths . why aren't we going with  some roll outs or something . also we need a run game if i was gettleman cap is getting the boot , he does not fit this scheme and he was a late rd pick for a reason he fuging sucks , i like fozzy alot though but only as a 3rd down back.

Lol Cam is getting the Colin treatment by some people already. Nevermind the fact that he has a crappy o-line and being asked to be many things in an offense with only a few solid weapons. Nevermind the fact that his judgement has been impaired since week one. Nevermind the fact that Cam has most likely come into each of these games with lingering effects of a concussion. Now everything is his fault LOL. Could he have kept running full speed? Yes. Some would say well he was already across the goal line and that's when he let up, that true. Others would say he just wasn't aware of where the defender was, that may be true too. A few would say he was bracing himself, that's possible. No matter what, he was popped in the head and this was the hit that sat him down. Benching him to get healthy, I'm for that but DA is a backup for a reason. The Falcons played prevent defense with him and the plays called were to fit DA's strengths. I just hope Cam repositions himself and is healthy whenever he does come back and plays with that old swag.

I'll tell you, they love when you're up and can't wait to kick you when you're down. This is the strangest fan base. The Pats fanbase would never do Tommy Boy like this LOL.

Its not a hard comparison.  Cam was terrible against a terrible defense.  The few times where he actually made a good read he then made an awful throw to an open receiver.  There was a drag route to Ginn in the first half that comes to mind.  If he makes that throw its probably a 30 yard completion.  Instead he threw it high and behind Ginn.  I dont know what's wrong but you cant pin this bad performance on facing a good defense.

If everytime you throw or majority time you throw your pocket is shrinking lineman getting pushed back into you or continuously getting sacked you are bound to throw bad passes..Cam has taken a beating Remmers should be on the bench.

What ever happens going forward let's hope that the o line can keep DA upright. He's  the best damn back up in the league and we've got to keep him healthy until Cam returns which  I think will be early next month

Cam can come off a MVP season, yet when he struggles for a stretch, these Anderson fans come out the woodwork like clockwork.

I'm sorry,  but it's crazy me that a journeyman average QB gets hoisted up like a perennial all-pro every time something like this happens.

You know the routine. Love you while you're up, kick you while you're down. Somehow these 4 games have been majorly on Cam. Interesting.

Looks like it's open season again for the Cam haters.

I knew these miserable people couldn't stay dormant too long.

What a truly loathsome fan base we have. I mean seriously.

They wait on him to have a bad stretch. Then it's his attitude, he celebrates too much, he's not doing this, he's not doing that. I'm not sure what kind of miracle plays and great check downs he's supposed to make if he doesn't have the time. They're justifying his concussion for crying out loud. I've never seen a fanbase like ours. It's almost embarrassing.

Cam will be gone, gone, gone in not long.

Cam is our frachise and starting QB.  He has had a rough start to the season.  I am not happy that he got hurt yesterday but I do think being out for a week or two will help.  He's been beat to hell already this season.  As far as Anderson goes, he did his job yesterday.  Every team wants a backup that gives them a chance to win and DA did that yesterday, even with the horrendous interception he threw.  Personally, I am glad we have DA but am looking forward to Cam coming back "when he is healthy" and start lighing it up again.  At least with DA in we still have a chance to win.

were they playing prevent on the 2nd two point conversion or on 2nd and goal from the 20 after four penalties from Remmers?

Because the Panthers have never gone into prevent and allowed a team to come back.

Thats never happened ever.

Some of you are in deep denial lol, there wasn't a prevent and the game plan wasn't altered.....Derek still push the ball down field a couple plays(funchess, Olsen). Play clock wasn't a issue either like it had been in the past...,so that myth is busted. Cam is our qb but like he said him self just needs to learn to take what the defense gives him, also he needs to step up in the pocket, and realize that sometimes he should just take off and run it

As I mentioned, this was the key.

The Falcons figured Derek would not push it, hence altered their game-plan.

You guys are so damn easy to plan for offensively.
